These boots were comfy to walk in and looked great. However, I have athletic calves (I wouldn’t consider myself as having wide calves) and I could barely zip the boots up near the top. I definitely couldn’t get them on over a pair of pants. If only they had an extra inch or so in the shaft circumference, I would keep them, but sadly, they have to go back since they are tight in the calves.

LOVE these shoes! I usually have a problem with closed toe/pointy shoes, but these are great! The bottom of the sole kind of has padding so they’re super comfortable to walk in. I wore these for the first time this week and had to run in them when I was late for a meeting. My feet didn’t hurt at all after. Great!

These delicate, strappy sandals are fabulous! I am picky about comfort AND style, and these shoes deliver on both. The soles are thin, yet padded well enough to shield the foot-bottoms when walking. I love the straps, and they are very comfortable. I have narrow feet, so I took them to a shoe shop and had some tightening done of the strap over the metatarsals. They are dressy enough to wear with a silk dress and casual enough to wear with jeans. Love them!

These shoes are even cuter on. I usually wear a 7 but opted for the 6.5 based on the opinion of another poster. The width (B) is fine and the height of the heel makes it comfy enough for all day wear. I did notice though, the back of the shoe comes up a little higher at the achilles than my other Joan & Davids. I do not anticipate this being a problem for me, for all others just a note.

This shoe is fabulous, but it does run big. I have a small foot and can wear a 5 or 5 1/2. I ordered the 5 and it slips a bit, which gave me a painful blister the first time I wore it. Still, it is gorgeous and I will wear it again, just with a shoe insert to keep it from slipping. I have the brown and it looks fantastic with my khaki suit! If it fit better, I would have bought it in black, too.

Have problem feet and usually need lots of arch support. These shoes don't have a lot of arch support but surprisingly the first time I wore them I was able to wear them all day without any major problems. They are comfortable and really cute.

Comfortable and looks good - These are the perfect everyday slides and they work with jeans or a skirt. This is my first day wearing them and they are so comfortable, I hardly notice them except when I am admiring them on my feet.

These are absolutely adorable and quite comfy! Great summer shoe and fun colors. They run slightly short but not enough to go up a half size.

Beautiful shoes, however, they stretched so much the first wearing I haven’t worn them since. Possibly may be the leather construction itself that gave. The shoe is now literally falling off my foot. Do yourself a favor and buy this style at least a half size smaller.

Terrible shoe. I have always bought Joan and David and last year had a slightly different version of this shoe that was really great. This one did not fit well and fell apart after a couple of months of wear. Literally, the heel fell off! I've never ever had a bad Joan and David shoe but this one is not up to the quality of the brand. I wear a size 9M.

I first bought a pair of these shoes in red at a local department store. I liked them so much that I went back to get a pair in black. The store didn't have them anymore! I am glad I found them on Zappos. They are very comfortable and the perfect height. I can walk in them and stand in them all day at work. The only minor irritant I have with the shoes is that occasionally my foot slips out as I walk and the shoes make a funny sound. Also, because the heels are new, they squeak when I walk on some tile floors.

Excellent! Stylish, comfortable and well priced. True to size fit, with very good support. Got a lot of compliments the first time I wore them to the office. The only drawback is that I can't drive in them - getting the clutch in my manual is not easy. So either drive an automatic and wear these sandals all day long or have a pair of flip flops on hand for car trips.

Different color - I found this in a multi brown fabric at a department store, didn't look closely, got home and the left has yellow in the pattern, right has none. Strange looking pair. However, wish I had gotten the black or brown because this is very comfortable and stylish. Wore all day to work with no problems. Usually wear 8.5, but the 8 fit the width of my slightly narrow foot better. Love the shoes.

Great shoe; goes with everything. Looks great with your little black suit or jeans and t-shirt. Perfect sizing; nicely padded. The wide straps hold your foot in place. No break-in period. Bought black and had to have the brown as well. Great shoe if you're on the go a lot.

Not true to size - This shoe was a 1/2 size to full size smaller than most pumps I have purchased. Usually I wear an 8.5, but this shoe felt like a 7.5 or very narrow 8.

I find this to be a very attractive shoe. I purchased the Blue Kid and the color is exactly as displayed. They are perfect for work. The heel is exactly the height I want. The shoe is conservative (reason I selected the blue kid) but does make a statement. They are very comfortable except for a little pinch on one toe; I could wear them every day!

Very comfortable right out of the box - These sandals are light weight, but very well padded. I wore them for a full day when they arrived and had no problems. They are true to size.

Sexy Shoe - This shoe is really sexy. I ordered them in black and navy but had to send the navy pair back. After wearing them all day, I developed blisters. I wore them with bare feet so maybe with stockings this will be better. For the first half of the day, the shoes felt great, but I wouldn't recommend all day wear or a lot of walking.

Whimiscal - I love this shoe. I wear a 8M and it fits great. I can't wear pointy toe shoes because of a toe surgery so this one fits the bill. The first time I put it on, it was great. No break in period for this shoe. The leather on this shoe is a nice quality that can be polished easily. The heel height is great and the shoe feels stable to walk in. Circa Joan & David make a great quality shoe. So if you are looking for a great round toe high heel, this is the one for you. Thanks Zappos! Keep up the good work!
