Digging In... I was so excited about the shoes I thought they were adorable. When we received them she tried them out, and, the metal loop for the strap was digging into her ankle when she crouched down. That really is my only complaint.

Too expensive for what you get - These shoes run long and wide for their size. They are cheap in quality and my little girl says they uncomfortable. I really doubt they will last all summer.

I got these for my 3 year old because I liked the simplicity of the design. They run very big but I decided to keep them hoping they will fit her by the end of the summer. They appear to be very well made and I like that they are from Spain.

I ordered these for my 1 year old. They are my absolute favorite shoe! I'll be ordering them again in a larger size for the spring. She has a very narrow foot and I had no problem with these. They almost seemed more narrow than all of the other bulky sneakers they have out there for toddlers. There is nothing on them that I can see to dig in. She doesn't seem to be bothered by them. I'm glad I didn't follow the other reviews. They go with everything and look adorable on. I couldn't find a simple mary jane sneaker for my daughter's age. Everything had bows or butterflies. These are perfect. I did, however, buy the red and return them. They were a very bright red that didn't seem to go with any of the red clothes she had.

My daughter and I love these shoes. This is the 3rd year in a row we have bought them. Comfy, simple style, versatile, washable, dress up-dress down. Sturdy. The only thing I dislike is that they have a fruity/flowery odor to them, but it dissipates over time. Definitely recommend them.

My seven year old wears a uniform to school and her shoes have to be navy or mostly white. The shoes are easy to put on and very comfortable. Love that they have a white bottom so she can wear them in gym class too.

I strive to purchase things that are ethically made and I like that this brand of shoes is made in Spain. I agree with other reviews who have said this shoe runs small; indeed, it runs very small. I'd order at least a size up, maybe two sizes. Cute, well-made shoes; easy for a young child to put on; classic look that will always be in style.

My daughter wears a size 4 in most shoes, but I ordered a size 5 so that she would have a little room to grow. The size 5 fit my daughter perfectly, so you def need to size up. They are really cute, simple shoes with a fairly flexible sole, they seem to be well-made, but I cannot speak to durability, because I returned them. Every time I put them on my daughter she complained about them and continued to try to take them off. There is a metal cinch that the closure runs through and also a thick piece of material that sticks out on the inside, I think that either of these could have caused her discomfort.

Very cute shoes - fit true to size. Only thing I don't like is that the tag that says Cienta is glued onto the insert so if it's a hot day it will peel off and there is a sticky part on the insert.

My 3-year-old loves these shoes and found them comfortable from the first wear. My only complaint is that they have a fruity/grape scent that can be a bit overpowering, but I guess is better than stinky feet.

I love the style of these shoes. Almost all of my daughter's clothes are or contain hot pink, so these go perfectly with all the casual clothes, and many dresses, too. I gave just four stars for overall because they get dirty so fast (being cotton) that I have to wash them constantly. Four stars for comfort because they are wide and have little support. But they are cute!

I like the look of this shoe and my daughter (almost 3) seems to dig them as well. I got them in denim and have to say the fabric started to fade / wear very quickly. Maybe a month into the shoe the soles are also worn. Overall had hoped for a little better quality. I thought size and width was as expected; potentially a bit wide, but it's a non-issue for us.

Great shoe! My 4 year old loves them. However I did want to mention that they do have a scent to them. Someone else mentioned this in another review and I'm just confirming. Some weird sort of artificial fruity/candy scent. It seems to be getting better after a few days. Now you only smell it when you are right next to her, not just in the same room. Hopefully it will go completely away soon.
