Before long, people were knocking on their door. Word was out that Chrome was making the best messenger bags around. What started out of necessity became a business with an ethic: build functional products that people can rely on and do it well.
Eventually they moved to San Francisco, a city with a huge urban cycling scene. The business grew. Bags were joined by clothes, gear and shoes. Their products showed up from Brooklyn to Berlin to Tokyo. For Chrome, what matters today is what mattered in the garage - building products that work, and standing behind everything they make.

I love these. They feel great and look great. I just got to keep them clean which is always tough with white shoes. They were also a bit bigger than I thought. Usually a 10½ is just right for me, but with these I have got a bit of extra space in the toe box.

I bought these shoes in mid-November of 2010 and they started falling apart along the soles about a month later. The rubber and bonding around the edges is faulty and I am highly disappointed in the purchase.

These shoes are really comfortable after they break in and they have a clean look. Excellent craftsmanship. This is my second pair of chromes and still satisfied. FYI: a 1/2 smaller than I normally wear works for me.
I'd also recommend: vans

I keep hearing, "nice shoes!" when I wear these. They're pretty comfortable, but a bit too lightweight for winter wear.

This sounds crazy, but here it is. I love the look of these shoes - so I bought them in my normal size 11. They fit great. I wore them every day - but after 2 weeks they were too small (?!). So I bit the bullet and bought a size 11.5. They were great for 2 weeks - and now too small. These are the incredible shrinking shoes. And yes, I have lots of shoes - my feet are not getting bigger.
