Before long, people were knocking on their door. Word was out that Chrome was making the best messenger bags around. What started out of necessity became a business with an ethic: build functional products that people can rely on and do it well.
Eventually they moved to San Francisco, a city with a huge urban cycling scene. The business grew. Bags were joined by clothes, gear and shoes. Their products showed up from Brooklyn to Berlin to Tokyo. For Chrome, what matters today is what mattered in the garage - building products that work, and standing behind everything they make.

These shoes are great, especially if you bike around a lot. The only issue I have with them is that there isn't much ventilation, so my feet are really sweaty after a ride. Besides that the shoes are great!

Very nice shoes and quite attractive. I like the ka-zillion lace holes which allow specific tightening or loosening over my knobby feet. Good for cycling but also good for the gym since the soles do have some flex. I'd recommend them. Very cool.

After reviewing the reviews I have seen on this site I went to Gilt.com and ordered the same shoe for cheap and for that price and the reviews I have read, I say its well worth it. I recommend everyone use Gilt.com and get what you want and save a few dollars in the process.

Rugged and cool-looking, these are great bike shoes. Tough enough for bike messengers, they more than meet the match of my weekend trail-a-bike sessions with my son or regular fitness rides. The elastic lace holder is a really nice touch!
I'd also recommend: Oakley

Had these a few weeks now. Received many compliments on them. They're stylish and comfortable. They offer minimal arch support, though.
