I put the Shimano SPD cleats on them, and the cleats hit the ground when walking more than I'd like. They don't really click on the tile/carpet at the office, but they do click on sidewalks and lots of other surfaces. The crank brothers cleats look like they have a lower profile, so they might be a better option; they might click less. As a lot of reviewers (here and elsewhere) have said, these run big, so order half a size down. They don't fare well in the rain, and rubber toe cap can make the toe area kind of stuffy. On the plus side, these shoes break in more than I expected. I've been wearing them regularly for a month or so, and the uppers are really comfortable now, for both biking and walking. Walking is a little awkward because of the stiff sole plate, and because your toes are kind of high up, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and I've been comfortable walking a couple miles or so in them. Overall, these have made commuting to work by bike better/faster, they're pretty comfortable during the day, they look decent and feel very well made, and the price isn't too bad, so I recommend them. I did pretty extensive research before getting these, and I think they're the best overall everyday commuter shoe out there. My choice of this over the Chrome Truk Pro was purely aesthetic -- the guy at the Chrome store made it seem like the shoes are nearly identical except for looks. (Btw, this might be obvious, but don't get them if you don't plan to use clipless pedals. Chrome has other similar models that are meant for non-clipless pedals.)

I'd also recommend: DZR, Giro, Quoc Pham.

I bought this mostly for the style and because I got my first set of clips for my bike. The sole of this shoe is very stiff. As a result, sometimes when I'm walking with these on my heel starts slipping out. I find that pretty annoying. The metal clips clack on the ground when walking, which is to be expected by pretty much any shoes with clips. I wouldn't wear them while walking around very long. It's still a good idea to bring a change of shoes if you are going to be off your bike for a while. These do look great while biking though! Also the toe of the shoe near my pinky toes where they have some of the stitching is kind of firm and rubs against my foot sometimes. It's not too bad, just a little annoying. If I were getting new shoes, I'd probably try something else as I haven't tried many brands. I also own a pair of Chrome's Turk clipless shoes, which I love. Maybe I should have got the Turk shoes with the clips instead.

My wife told me that if I was going to cycle and wear cycling shoes that I could not look lame; these shoes are not lame, look awesome and fit my style (I normally wear Chucks & Vans slip-ons). I can wear these while not riding my bike and look/feel like I blend into society as opposed to the clickety-clack of normal lame cycling shoes. They run one size small for sure - I got 7s but normally wear 8s. The width is true and comfort is alright but you definitely need to break them in first. The cup for your heel could "hug" a little more but I do not come out of them walking. A little heavy but who cares. If you are going for style and a decent overall cycling shoe, I would recommend these. Please, don't look lame.

I would give these shoes an overall 5 stars, but they are very heavy so, only 4 stars. Other than that, I love 'em and have had many compliments.

These re a solid compromise between a clip less bike shoe and casual sneaker. I will say it doesn't excel in either category though. As a clip less bike shoe it gives you the attachment to the pedal that you want but lacks in stability. As a sneaker it is comfortable and easy to walk in but on certain paths you will hear and feel the clips and if you walk a longer distance the heel will start to rub and give blisters. Am I happy with these, yes, they serve the propose to get to work and not require me to bring a spare pair of shoes. so I give them a solid B-.

I'd also recommend: Giro
