Great Boots! These boots are the best quality and best looking boots I've ever purchased. Although a bit pricey, they are definitely worth the money. They took less than a day to break in and are very comfortable as well as good looking. I just wish they had more sizes available.
Brands I'd also recommend: Georgia Boot

Awesome boots - This is my third pair of these boots, but my first I have bought from Zappos. They last me 2 or so years of hard everyday wear. They are worth every penny for comfort and durability. They are are boots that are more pricey and some cheaper, these are the way to go. Oh yea, Zappos service rules! They are the best in the biz handsdown. You will get NO runaround from these guys. Thanks and buy the superloggers!
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen, Vans slip-ons, and of course Chippewas.

Great Boots but cheaper at Cabelas - I've wore Chippewas for years. They are rebuildable and wear well. Accordingly, you don't need to buy them too frequently. Just periodically clean them and oil them.
Brands I'd also recommend: for the money nothing beats Chippewa!

Super Boots - Some previous reviews were not concise enough. Simply stated, these boots are great. No need to try to be wordy or say things that don't make sense. They look great, fit great, quickly break in and are worth the money! No need to say anything else!

Attractive, Solid Boot - These Chippewa's have everything. They are attractive, warm, protective and supportive of your feet. They are perfect for outdoors. I bought them for their style. I wear them as dress boots, even though they are designed for work. They have everything I need in a work boot, steel toe, waterproof, insulated, oil resistant, slip resistant, electrical hazard resistant. I work in the construction industry as a fuel/lube truck driver. So I'm always outside climbing up and down construction equipment in a heavily oiled/muddy environment. My main concern is slipping off the construction equipment. The heels are a bit high for balancing and for climbing up and down. So I can still use them as backup boots for my work. But I would not want to get them dirty. I use them as dress boots and wear them with a nice pair of slacks. I wore them to a football game in 20 degree weather and my feet never got cold. A couple years from now I will use them for work. These boots look and feel very, very durable as if they will last 10 years or more. They even came with a certificate of authenticity! Imagine that. They are not as comfortable as "hiking" boots but that is by design. They do have a break in period. If you’re not used to "heeled" boots you might not like these. I've wore "heeled" boots in the past and these are a big step up in comfort and foot support. I've never had a boot of this type of quality. I feel very good about my purchase. The only problem is that after wearing good boots like these the standard I've set for my feet has been raised very high. Once again Zappos customer service was excellent.
Brands I'd also recommend: Caterpillar, Wolverine

About Chippewa
Initially, Chippewa started with only logger boots in its product line. Constructed of double and triple leather midsoles and hand-plugged outsole spikes, the logger boots were designed to assist loggers as they rolled the logs down the rivers to the mills. Based on that state-of-the-art boot, Chippewa gained a reputation for quality and began expanding the product line to include more boot categories.
The past century has brought significant changes in the need for quality outdoor work and sport footwear. Chippewa Boots continues to add new products to its inventory to meet the needs of its loyal following. As part of the Justin Brands, Inc. family, quality and craftsmanship continue to be the leading guides in its development, just as it has been for the last 100 years. Rugged as the land they walk, Chippewa. Live the Spirit.

Chippewa Super Logger - For anyone that is thinking of getting a pair of Chippewa’s. This is the place to get them. The order came within 3 days of me ordering them. These boots are the most comfortable footwear out there. They are worthy of any work you need to go throw to get them. I want to say a word about this site/store. The person I spoke with was the most pleasant person that I have had the pleasure speaking with in a long time and when I asked to find out if they really had the stock they did. Thank you very much for the order I placed with you. I spent a lot of time trying to find my size. I needed a size 6 in men. I am a girl and I spent around 2 to 2 1/2 months trying to locate this model # and size. It came to my understanding that locating my size in men is almost impossible. When I had a store around were I live call Chippewa to see if they had any in stock they were told, not until April of this year. Your store was the only one on the internet or any retail store anywhere in the USA that had my size, and trust me I spent a lot of time trying to locate these boots. My family and friends after a while told me to look for a different brand. I was told that if I did find them because I have put so much time into trying to find them. That I would probably hate them and that they would be very uncomfortable. That was not the case I love them!!!! I just new that i would fall in love with them the moment I slipped my feet into them. The boots hugged all the way around my feet. The arch support is just were it needs to be.

A bit pricey... but an excellent boot- As I said in the title this boot is on the expensive side, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair, I like them so much. Very comfortable. Well made boot. Great for when you wear boots for 12 hours like I do.

Best boot ever! Dear Sirs, First off I want to thank you for your superb service, received with in two days. First off I'm very impressed with the boots so far. Have a very hard time finding a comfortable steel toed boot with a extremely wide foot, have been working in a lot of mud and water and the last few days and not once have my feet been wet. Highly recommend this boot to anyone out there with a wide foot. Zappos is #1 in my book!

Safety and height - My husband loves these boots. He orders a size up to accommodate thick socks. They are expensive but worth it. They are very durable and don't give out like cheaper work boots.

My husbands favorite boot - These are expensive but worth it. I ordered a size larger and wider to accomodate heavey work socks. These boots also last much much longer than cheaper versions.

Gift for my Husband - He loves these! Couldn't have picked a better boot as far as looks, comfort, heel ht. and safety ~ steel toe. I had experience with returning due to wrong size (my mistake) and it was so easy. This company is wonderful and I look forward to buying the next pair for any us! Thank you Zappos!

These boots ARE really comfortable, no other way to put it. And just in case you’re wondering you can wear them to work outdoors and I wear them out just hanging around. Think of a perfect bed for your shoes while you’re in them...wicked comfy!! No joke.
Brands I'd also recommend: get it in different colors

The Greatest Boot, Ever. I am not just saying this--these are the best boots I have ever owned. I generally have trouble breaking in shoes--boots even more so. These boots are like old friends. They fit like a dream and look like they will last a long time. Living in Michigan, I am looking forward to see the how they react to temperature (i.e. are they warm). Overall, fantastic boot that is worth every penny.

Best boots I have had - These boots cost a little more than I would like but all day comfort is definitely worth the price. I am a happy Zappos customer. From now on I will buy all my boots here. I ordered them at night after work and they were here next morning. Wow!

The last pair of boots you will ever buy - I've always worn Doc Martens for their style and long life. Chippewa's are just as rugged but considerably more comfortable. Don't let the price tag scare you. They are worth every penny and more.

Best Boot Ever - Best Boot Ever! The second time I wore these boots was for 12 hours on concrete. I thought I would wear them half the night just to break them in but they were so comfortable I kept them on all night. Such a nice boot I didn't even mind the cost. Thanks Zappos!!
