I have worn these every day since I bought them in October. I had to replace the shoe laces not long after I began wearing them. Other than that I really enjoy them, very comfortable right out of the box. I have cleaned and treated with saddle soap and that's about it.

These boots are very comfortable, warm and can be worn all day. Cheppewa quality is second to none, these boots are well made and sturdy. Service from Zappos as always was outstanding!

I was hoping a size 8 would not be too large. I need a 7 1/2, but you do not have it. I will continue to look at other options. Thanks.

I went through a couple of pairs of moc toe, upland type boots before I took a chance on these. With Zappos fantastic service, I figured, what have I got to lose? Well, hands down, these are better than the Irish Setters I had which cost less but never fit comfortably. The Briar Bisons are lightweight and broke in quickly with one application of Obenauf's boot oil. I never want to take them off! They look great in the office or on the job sites.

About Chippewa
Initially, Chippewa started with only logger boots in its product line. Constructed of double and triple leather midsoles and hand-plugged outsole spikes, the logger boots were designed to assist loggers as they rolled the logs down the rivers to the mills. Based on that state-of-the-art boot, Chippewa gained a reputation for quality and began expanding the product line to include more boot categories.
The past century has brought significant changes in the need for quality outdoor work and sport footwear. Chippewa Boots continues to add new products to its inventory to meet the needs of its loyal following. As part of the Justin Brands, Inc. family, quality and craftsmanship continue to be the leading guides in its development, just as it has been for the last 100 years. Rugged as the land they walk, Chippewa. Live the Spirit.

A very high-quality boot with very good looks and all-day comfort. I've already been complimented on them twice and I really can't remember anyone complimenting any of my shoes before. The material is comfortable and my feet don't get hot which is amazing. The size is a little large so the fit is a little loose.

When trying to replace a pair of the Chippewa 6 Bison waterproof boots I found them not available where purchased until late August and I need them for a Safari trip to Africa to photograph and video my stepsons hunt. I found them available at Zappos and that they paid shipping to and on return if needed. Remarkable service for Zappos.

I work for an insurance company as a claims investigator and I have to go into some pretty nasty water, fire and muck situations. This boot works for all those situations. The boot was comfortable right out of the box. The collar is a little stiff, but it’s not uncomfortable. I’ve had them for three months now and they still look new, just hose them and brush them off. Very little if any wear in the soles. I bought size 9 1/2 and they are roomy enough for thicker socks and not wallowy with thinner ones. Best boots I’ve ever owned.
Brands I'd also recommend: Chippewa, worth the money

Great boots, look good. True to size for me 10 Wide, comfortable, easy to break in. These are good cool weather boots (don't expect to wear these in summer). Would have liked a little deeper tread, but they are upland boots.

These shoes look great. They are very comfortable and require no breaking in. The weight on the shoe is very light due to the soles. These shoes provide good traction and ankle support. My only problem is they don't breath that well. It's around 90 degrees here and after about three hours my feet start to sweat. They should be great soon as we get to fall weather here in the south. Overall, this is a nice shoe.
