Overall:

The Classic Rink Skate was pretty nice, but they didn't fit my feet correctly (caused pain along the top of my foot) even with extra thick socks to compensate for the fact that they run on the large size (I typically wear a size 10, I ordered a size 9 and it was still too big.) The other issue I had is that the skates didn't go as fast as the ones I was replacing (size 7 1/2(stretched) Riedell skates I'd had since 1982.) The quality seemed good, just not quite the skate I'm looking for. I've returned these and I'm waiting for the precision skates to arrive - I should have ordered the next step up in the first place!

I wear a size 9.5 & ordered a size 9...perfect fit. I love the pink wheels. I also ordered my kids the same skates. We love them.

Great Skates! I bought these skates for outdoor skating and they are very comfortable and they look good too. I bought a 7 and I usually wear an 8. They fit fine even with thick socks. Shipping was lightning fast!

Zappos service is excellent! Shipped it next day. I was very pleased with my order processing. The skate is good; however, the boot size does run big. It holds up very well to the falls with little scuffing. The wheels were different than those pictured. The wheels do not spin freely and seem wider than other rink wheels I have seen. I tried adjusting the nuts but it made the wheels wobble. The wheels and bearing could be better. My 4 yr old has learned to skate well and with proper technique in them, so I will purchase different skates next time (RW Wave or Magna 600).

Love these skates - These skates are great and I am 13 years old and these are my first pair of skates and they were great. I learned how to skate better than I did when I was on rental skates. They have great axles for turning and free style skates.

Chicago Skates Womens Classic Rink Skate - I use these skates to skate outside near the beach and they are great. The wheels spin very smoothly and they fit perfectly, thanks to the reviewers who pointed out that they run big. I wear a 10 shoe and I ordered a size 9. Great deal for the money and I received them very fast even though I know the Zappos warehouse was being hit by an ice storm. I will definitely shop with Zappos again!

Decent skate for the money. The wheels tend to tighten-up after a short time on dusty floors. Overall I am pleased, they are very comfortable.

Great for the Rink!I really liked this skate! I ordered a size smaller in the Men's boot. My shoe size is between an 8 1/2 and a 9 women's. I ordered a 7 in men's. I would suggest wearing a thick sock and make sure it comes up midcalf to protect the back of your leg! The high boot kind of rubs there. All in all the skate are wonderful!! Adjust wheels to your experience in skating and roll away! I skated for 3 to 4 hours and really had a great time. There's nothing like owning your own skates. This is a great investment!

My Daughter luvs the skates!!!!!Zappos prices was by far the most inexpensive prices for these Chicago Precision skates. I searched about 5 different stores. They were a Christmas gift for my thirteen year old Daughter. She loves them; the fit was perfect and great for the skating rink.

So rad!I ordered these to treat myself for doing so well on my finals and they're great! I took everyone's advice and ordered a size down, I'm a size 7 and I ordered a 6 which felt odd but when I tried them on they fit perfectly with a little wiggle room to spare! Also shipping was crazy fast... I ordered it at eleven at night and got them at eleven the next morning. Overall, awesome!!

I love these skates, reminds me of the good 'ol times. They do run big, so if you are between sizes, go down. I am a 7 1/2, I ordered a size 8 and they were too big, but since I could not wait to skate I used them and had so much fun.

Fun, fun, fun - The skates are good quality and my 9 year old daughter says they are very comfortable. The only down part is the wheels are tight so they don't roll far or fast with each push. Maybe they can be loosened?

I LOVE THESE!!!VERY FAST SHIP!!! I read the other reviews before purchasing and it is true, these skates run large. I am normally a size 6 shoe, but I ordered a 5 and they are still just a little big. Overall I just love these skates, it's going to take me some time to get used to skating again, but I just can't wait to get out there again!!!

If I knew then what I know now...These skates are NOT appropriate for roller derby! Please do not purchase these if you plan on trying out for a roller derby league. Invest in a nice pair of Reidell skates. The Chicago boots are cheap vinyl; they'll hurt your feet and fall apart quickly. The wheels are very hard and slippery; the plate is weak and will not stand up to the demands of actual speed skating and roller derby. Zappos has amazing service, so go buy some shoes and don't waste your money on these awful skates.

Roller skates - The shoes fit just fine. Order a size smaller than your normal size they are a bit large, unless you have a wide foot then the same size is fine.

Roller Skates - I purchased these roller skates for my niece's birthday, she loves them, she is just learning how to skate but says they are very comfortable and have the arch support she needs. I searched the internet for roller skates and found that these were comparable in price and the fact that I received them the next day was great! I love your web site.

The skates I wear to work - The skates I ordered said they would be here within 5 to 8 business days and they were here the next afternoon. I wear them to work (SONIC) everyday. They are comfortable and good looking all at the same time.

Bad choice for a good skate - If you are looking for a really good speed skate, don't buy these! They are VERY basic. The wheels are plastic and the skate itself it very uncomfortable. I wore them once and had bruises on the outside of my foot. I guess the skate is made too narrow. They also don't move well at all. I almost fell a few times because the wheels didn't move properly.

Great Skates!I headed the warnings of the other reviewers on here and ordered a full size smaller than my shoe size and I am glad I did. I normally wear a 9 and I ordered an 8 and they fit great. These babies are excellent quality and very cute. I can't wait to use them! Zappos as usual did a FANTASTIC job of getting them to me safe, sound, and fast.

Great boots however I had to replace all 4 wheels. They are way too soft for rink skating. These might be better suited for outdoor skating.I usually wear a women's size 9 1/2 or 10 shoe. I purchased size 9 skate. Way too much extra room. I have to wear 2 pairs of socks.

Skates For Alien Feet - Boot was true to U.S. men's shoe size in length, perhaps a little narrow for a D width. The problem is the toe box is exceptionally low and painfully uncomfortable (and unusable) for someone with average feet. On the good side, the trucks and wheels seemed fine given the price of the skate.

Cute Skates!Except for the color of the wheels (mine were red), these are the exact duplicates of the pair I got for Christmas as a teenager in the mid-1980s. I love them! The main thing you as a potential orderer need to know is THESE PUPPIES RUN A FULL SIZE LARGER THAN YOUR REGULAR SHOE SIZE. I'm a solid 8, but I had to return the 8s for a size 7 and they fit wonderfully!
