I bought this slicer for my husband for Christmas and we love it! I also ordered the ultra thin slicer blade. So far we've used it on beef, cheese and vegetables. The motor is stronger enough to slice very thin slices of pecorino cheese, eggplant for parmesean and beef for carparcio. It's much easier to clean than I thought it would be. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone that wants a good quality home slicer.
