Chef's Choice

I've had this kettle for about six years, and it gets used daily. Love it. It looks great, heats up quickly, and feels good in the hand. The only maintenance I do is an occasional brew of 1/2 water and 1/2 white vinegar to remove the sludge from my hard water. The sale price is less than I paid. What a bargain!

I have used this new waffle-maker two different times and am delighted with the waffles it produced! I've tried both the crispy setting, for traditional maple syrup and butter topping, and the "cakier" setting for the fresh strawberries and whipped cream topping. Both produced a beautiful finished product. There is a lot of steam that seeps out the sides and I wasn't used to that, based on my 1964 World's Fair waffle-maker I have used for almost 50 years, but it produces a wonderful waffle! The controls are great - red and green lights work fine and it is fast to cook. I also appreciate how it stacks so nicely on the shelf in a horizontal position because, as with most kitchens in America, there is little extra space for storage. I highly recommend this Chef's Choice WafflePro (I have a Chef's Choice knife sharpener and some other of their products and they are top notch -- and, no, I don't work for them nor do I know anyone who does!)

I bought this to slice home made bacon. What a wonderful little machine! Its easy to disassemble for cleaning, the blade comes off without a problem and it slices my bacon wonderful! Its quiet, powerful and stylish so if you have room you dont mind leaving it out. Also the feed tray CAN be removed for use with oversized pieces of meat, but it IS NOT recommended for obvious safety reasons; just possible. The best purchase I could have made! Stop thinking and get it.

Much better than our last pot, the plastic Bodum, never worked great and then died after a few months. This one allows you to turn it off manually, and in general seems to work just great.

My family and I, like many people, love to eat boiled eggs. But the length of time it takes to boil them and also having to keep track of the cooking time proves to be too much hassle for us to have them as often as we would like. However, enter the Egg Cooker. This cooker works great and cooks the perfect egg every time. Super easy and minimal cleanup. I highly recommend the Egg Cooker!

I had read a number of reviews regarding waffle makers and Chef's Choice continually found its way to the top. I was looking for a Belgian style, and this 830B was slightly cheaper than the 840B. I love the product and have used it multiple times per week since buying it. There is not one design flaw in this product, you will not be disappointed! They thought of everything; multiple options to create the perfect waffle, ready light and sound, overflow tray, floating hinge, etc. It is worth every penny.

This scissors sharpener was a gift for my husband. He LOVES it! It is easy to use. What's more. The item arrived exactly when Zappos said it would - in time for Christmas!

Excellent product. It really is quick, easy and effective. Puts a great edge on kitchen knives with very little effort.

The Zappos blade is the right size but will not fit onto the slicer I bought from Williams-Sonoma some years ago. The white plastic gear permanently fastened to the back of the Zappos blade seems to be the problem. My Williams-Sonoma machine has this gear as an integral part of the chassis and their blade is entirely steel and is oriented to the chassis and clamped on by a big plastic screw. I feel sure that Zappos has the blade I need and would like to have that as replacement for the one I am now returning.

The food slicer is perfect for any type of slicing. I have had no problems with it, as all large kitchen items they seem to be hard to clean, this comes apart and I have no problems cleaning it. Zappos is a great place to buy items, they ship free and return free...love it.

If you want something that lasts a long time, this may not be your best option. After several months, it started to work inconsistently, and the lid inexplicably broke. Thank goodness for Zappos and their great customer service.

If you're looking for a good, solid electric kettle, then this is it. The fit and finish of the parts is top-notch, and at $50, it's practically a steal. It heats water quickly (about 5 min. to the boil for 1.5 litres), it's quiet compared to some other kettles I've had, and it shuts off right away once the water is at a full boil, unlike many other kettles I've read comments about, so there's no unnecessary waiting. A great kettle at a very good price.

Yes. Happy with every aspect of this sale! I could have purchased many other dealers at the same price but I believe that loyalty goes to a customer and also from the customer to the dealer. My husband loves this blade! He uses it to slice venison and beef for jerky. It does a great job. We love the slicer in general. And the company's customer service is very good too.

This waffle maker is great! We have used it 3 times so far with no problems. It is simple to use...just plug in, set the toasting number (4-5 for a golden brown), wait for the light to turn on and beep at you, open the lid, pour your batter (use the specified instructions for proper amount), close the lid and wait for the green light and beep to tell you when it's done. Takes a very short time to cook...shorter than toasting toast. Love this product and worth every penny. Well made and I can see me using this unit for a VERY long time.

It is a great waffle maker! Had it for about a month now and no problems. While the finish beep is quite loud (to me) it is still a great feature when you are multi-tasking in the kitchen. It does a great job on the crispy outside setting. We haven't tried the other setting yet because we prefer crispy waffles. Definitely recommend this waffle maker!

This is a piece of junk. I've had it for 7 months, and it simply stopped working. It also doesn't turn off automatically when the eggs are cooked.

It says it has a setting for a crispy exterior and soft interior but it stays crispy for about 2 seconds. Even their suggestion of letting some of the steam release by sitting on a cooling rack for a few seconds doesn't extend the crispness. It takes a lot of experimentation of recipes to try and find a recipe that can extend the crispness long enough to get it on a plate, to the eater for a few initial bites. Ultimately, if you want a crispy exterior that actually lasts for the first few bites on a plate, you really need the traditional, expensive kind without the non stick coating. 3 stars for an inexpensive, easy to clean and some waffle for the kids is better than no waffle. The included recipes are tasty.

This product was in excellent condition when it arrived, packaging was in good shape. Zappos was the best priced around that I could find. And it arrived very quickly. Thanks Zappos!

I love this kettle! It's the perfect size. I bought one for me, one for my dad and one for my aunt and we all rave about it! It gets the water piping hot in a couple of minutes (or sooner if there is less water). I definitely recommend this to everyone!
