More beautiful in person! However, I'm returning a second pair and not ordering a third. I wear 8.5 (9 for boots), my feet are normal, narrow rather than wide, the left one slightly bigger. I ordered 9, which felt at least one size bigger. Returned that pair and ordered 8.5. The right boot still felt too big inside, narrow at the ankle (they warn you about this, by the way). But despite the right one feeling too big, I couldn't even put the left one on; it's too narrow at the ankle. So, the perfect feet for these boots should be wider than normal, with very slim ankles.

I bought these as a stylish alternative to clogs. They are a bit higher than I would ideally prefer, but they look great. They look great and are really comfortable. I have been wearing them on all my errands and have gotten a number of compliments from men and women and questions about who makes them. They run 1/2 size large, which is true of most western boots.

Charlie One Horse, a division of Lucchese, the best boot maker in the world. These little mules are extremely comfortable. The workmanship is nothing less than exquisite, as anything manufactured by Lucchese usually is. The stitching and style are really sexy. Exactly my size and comfortable from the 1st time I tried them on. No break-in required. The only boots I own are Lucchese: worth the price, incomparable beauty and workmanship. Also can't say enough about Zappos. I received them 2 days after I ordered them. Fast!

Love these mules! They are so comfortable, run true to size, and look a bit dressier than my other mules. I haven't had a pair of Charlie One's that haven't been super comfortable and durable.

I was acting as personal shopper for my adult daughter; she wanted above the ankle, cool, western style but not "tacky", black boots. These were perfect! She loves them. They look great and are very comfortable. They were more expensive than her usual purchase, but since they are very classic, she plans to keep them for a long time.

Great looking boots! I ordered a half size smaller than normal and they seem to be the right size for me. However, they took at least 2 weeks to break in and required shoe trees and manipulating the leather to get them comfortable. But it worked, as they are now comfy and cool looking.

I love these boots. I had a pair of Nacona\'s for years but sadly my feet have gotten bigger with age and they no longer fit. When I saw these from Lucchese I had to get them. The fit is true to size. Theses will last me for years and years or until my feet grow again. Great for traveling, easy on and off at airport security.

I love these boots. They are great looking and easy to wear. Just beware before ordering them because they run a full size large. I ordered only a half size larger after reading the reviews on Zappos, but even those were far too large.

I ordered these boots in the camel color and they are really nice. They were a little snug trying to get them on and off, and feel a little larger than other boots. Maybe because of the pointed toe. The heel height was not as tall as I thought it would be. They height is perfect as it gives me a taller diva look in a cowboy boot. Zappos delivery was great as they arrived the day after I ordered them!

These shoes fit like a glove. I own this shoe in five colors, and I've never hesitated to order online. Lucchese (Charlie 1 Horse) is always true to size and the quality is impeccable.

This is a really elegant and beautifully made shoe. It runs a bit large. I normally wear an 8.5, but got this in an 8. It is comfortable, but not enough support for all day on your feet wear.

These are very good looking boots. The fit is true to size. The inside zipper on the boot allows it to fit closer to the ankle than a traditional pull-on western boot without being too snug. I am not a cowgirl but can appreciate a nice pair of boots and these are very nice for western wear or just a bit of western influence. The stitching is elaborate without being gaudy.

These boots are uniquely cute and set themselves apart from all the mundane shoes. The dark green decorating pattern is iridescently flashy, but done with taste. It contrasts with the muted grayish green leather really well. Most people stare at these boots in awe for the first 5 seconds and then they say, "wow great boots, where did you get them? I think my sister/girlfriend/mom/teenage daughter/cousin in the city would love to get a pair." As far as comfort, these run slightly too roomy in the instep, even given the fact I have high arches and med-wide feet. But it's true to size in terms of length, and they are comfortable enough for their heel height.

I\'m thrilled with my Charlie One Horse I6030 slides. I ordered both my normal shoe size, 7.5M and one size smaller, 7M and ended up keeping the 7M, the smaller size, which fit perfectly without socks--the way I intend to wear these. They were comfortable from the very first wearing. I wear them with boot-cut jeans and pants. They fit securely because of the way Lucchese designed the instep, thus I can walk briskly with confidence, just like in a full size boot. You won\'t be sorry you purchased these, and I\'m sure you\'ll get lots of compliments.

Beautiful sexy boot and comfortable. When I received them, the right was a little snug, so from the advice a Zappos representative I took them to a shoe repair store and had them stretched. They now fit perfectly. These boots are so eye-catching I get compliments everywhere I go, even the shoe repair store.

I love these shoes! They are comfortable and stylish. The leather and stitching is very high quality. I ordered my true size and that worked fine. I paid attention to other reviewers, but was still a little nervous when I first put them on and they were very tight. After a few hours of wearing them around the house they loosened up and now fit perfectly comfortably.The coloring is uneven as though they're already worn in a little. By the way, I managed to drop a little butter on them the second day I got them. Not a catastrophe however as I had coated them with leather protector and used the same stuff to clean up. The point being that this color shows everything, but will come clean with some work.

I chose this specific style of a cowboy boot because the shaft of other boots just annoys me and I wanted one that still gives the illusion of a full cowboy boot, and this does the trick. It is SO comfortable and wicked easy to walk in, the color is gorgeous; I love everything about this boot! And although it is a bit expensive... well, it’s definitely worth the money! I highly recommend this boot.

I love these mules! They look elegant, are perfect with jeans, and are truly comfortable. They stay on my feet when walking, even quickly, because although not too tight, they hug my foot and the top comes up far enough on the foot to envelope it. The toe has a nice shape, but unlike some cowboy style mules, doesn't jut out so far it doesn't look like your foot! The description says fabric upper, but honestly, it looks and feels like horse hair with a floral pattern burned into it. It must be some kind of horsehair like fabric, but it's really pretty. They're expensive, but I wear them a lot now for going out in elegant jeans, so they're not going to just sit in my closet!

Love These Mules - This is my 3rd pair of Charlie One Horse mules. I find these mules to be the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, even more comfortable than an athletic shoe, and of course much more stylish.The patent leather is a bit stiffer than the regular leather, and I like the flatter shorter heel. I wear one of my three pair 95% of the time. I already have my eye on the 4th pair!! And Zappos prices are the best I have found.

Great shoes/boots - These are the greatest mules I own. They look just like a classy pair of cowboy boots, but the comfort is way better than boots. The quality and workmanship is impeccable. They are worth the price.

Can't wait to wear these in the fall/winter - Very nice ankle height cowboy boots - I didn't want the boot all the way up my calf to wear with jeans/corduroys. Size is good with socks – toe box comfortable despite pointy tip. Heel height also very comfortable. A sharp, yet comfortable, boot.
