This tea kettle was a gift but I have two and just love them. The handle does not get hot, the whistle is great, and it looks terrific just sitting on the stove. It is a work of art.

The handle stays cool. I'm not sure why it does but it does. The best thing about this tea kettle is its overall good looks and its whistle. After many years of daily use, the whistle may give out. You can order a replacement whistle. The pot lasts forever.
My sister has had this same kettle for a year now and is very happy with it, so I decided to purchase one for myself. I, too, am satisfied and have zero complaints and heats efficiently, handle is cool to the touch (requires no oven mitt to pour), whistle blows (yes, it's loud, but isn't it supposed to be?) and I love the enamel covering which will help to keep oxidation from occurring. As an avid tea lover, this teakettle earns my cheers.
It's adorable sitting on my stove. It matches my KitchenAid mixer perfectly. I've seen it at local stores, but the savings of tax and no s&h was an added bonus. Zappos is the only way to shop!
I really like this tea kettle. The handle is comfortable and its easy to open the spout. The only thing I have to say is I still use a pot holder because the handle gets a little hot. But maybe I'm just a wimp. I have used it without the pot holder and I did not burn my hand, I just like it better with the holder. I love the color and the shape. Even the inside is bright blue. Very cute tea kettle. I would buy it again.
A great tea kettle; doesn't drip, nice loud whistle when it's ready, easy to pour. Colors could be more varied, but you can't have everything.
Not as hefty as one would expect in a Chantal tea kettle. And if you're looking/hoping for the deep whistle that the other more expensive Chantal tea kettles have, you're not getting it with this one.
You have got to be kidding me...this much? For a tea kettle? It boils water like any other kettle, looks nice while it is doing it, but you need to use a pot holder to take it off of the stove because it has a metal handle. It works just fine but it is way too expensive and not worth the price.

I've owned three of these beautifully designed tea kettles. The harmonica whistle stopped working after a few weeks, and I have burnt out the bottom twice. Will not buy again!
Loved it! Sent it to my aunt for her birthday. She loves the design and the audible whistle. Her kitchen is themed in "apples" so it was the perfect fit.

Love this teakettle! After at least 7 years of daily use, it remains in excellent condition. Easy to clean, maintains its shine and looks new. Lovely (but attention getting) harmonica sound alerts you when the boiling point is reached. Am ordering a second one as a backup in case this one ever wears out.

I had looked long and far for the perfect teakettle for my arthritic hands. This one is fantastic. The trigger to lift the top is smooth and easy, the balance as I am pouring is very well designed and easy for me to use. Best of all and it looks great sitting out on my stove.

Had an old Chantal classic teakettle. Purchased an induction stove. Old teakettle did not work. Purchased new one. Not only looks great, but works beautifully. Harmonics aren\'t as good as on my old kettle, but still much more pleasant than other kettles on the market. As for a hot handle. Not with the old, and not with the new. A non-issue unless of course you\'re boiling water overly long or with the lid off.
Fill it with water, turn on the flame, you got yourself some hot water. Not just any hot water, hot water made with style! Hot water tastes better when the shape and color of the receptacle it was created in looks like this! Trust me, you'll be making more hot water than you ever have before with this work of art!
This is a very well made product. Everything about this teakettle makes perfect sense. I purchased the stainless. This teakettle does not whistle.

My old teakettles lived on my stove no matter what I was cooking. They were black and cheap and got covered with oil and dust but I didn't worry about it. But when I moved into a very small house (with a teeny tiny kitchen), I wanted everything to be beautiful and so I bought my first Chantal kettle. And now I care for it like a baby. I never cook with it on the stove, I wipe it down regularly and I admire it. It's not that it's delicate, I just want it to last. The color is so pretty, so classy and yet fun. It's definitely high quality materials but not heavy. The water heats up quickly and the stay cool handle really does stay cool. The whistle's nothing special but it gets the job done.

Chantal Loop kettle is a very functional kettle. There weren't any leaks from this kettle when pouring and the hook to open the spout is very ergonomic. The kettle is a very shiny black. Great find.
I own this teakettle (green color). Not only does it beautify my kitchen, it heats water quickly. Its whistle isn't as loud and as obnoxious as other teakettles. Even my husband likes it! A great treat for yourself and your home.

I am SO very pleased with my Chantal tea pot. The price was undeniably acceptable, the color "cool" and the free shipping a real plus. Thank you!
