While this sandal is comfortable and easier to adjust than the one with the toe strap, I think that it won't be as stable if it were to get wet or if I had to walk very fast in them. The 2 straps are very cute though. I would recommend this sandal for someone who doesn't need it for a lot of hiking. Usually I wear a 7.5 wide but the 7 wide fit me perfectly.

I really really really wanted these to fit! However, they made my feet looked like stuffed sausages!! The foot bed was wide enough for my feet; however, the straps were horrible. They were set too far in and squished my feet-no matter how I adjusted them. It seems that they accounted for a wide foot in the sole but not in the strap placement. I ended up keeping my birkies.

These are my first pair of Chaco sandals and I am super impressed. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and trying to decide between toe strap versus no toe strap. I ended up going with this pair and they are extremely comfortable! They provide lots of arch support (something my feet were severely missing with the flip-flops that I have lived in for years). I look forward to wearing these bad boys hiking during the spring and summer months. I would say if you are thinking about purchasing these, give them a shot. I am usually between a 7½ and an 8, but after reading some other reviews I sized down to a 7 and they fit perfectly. The straps are easy to adjust and I have not had any issues with them coming loose or being too tight. They are definitely worth the money and you cannot beat Zappos' customer service and fast shipping!

Fantastic shoe! I was skeptical, frankly, as my daughter kept telling me how wonderful these were. I was planning a trip and ordered these to try. I ordered the blue and black to see which I liked the best, and kepth them both. I wore these every day during my recent trip to Italy and we walked almost 12 miles each day! They have an arch support built in, so you need to make sure it fits your foot. The straps adjust to the width of your foot, and it does take a bit to get them adjusted, but once you do, they are wonderful. I have not tried the style that wraps around the bit toe, so I don't know how comfortable they would be, but these are perfect for extended time on your feet and look pretty good as well!

I love this sandal especially the look of the 2 cross straps vs. the toe strap version. The Yampa (smooth) sole is less clunky which makes it appealing. Adjusting is not difficult. On my first wearing, I was lucky to get them wet so that helped the strap adjustment too. I normally wear a 5-1/2 and size 6 works great. I purchased them in blue and very happy.

These are my first pair of Chacos and I almost went for the toe strap but I am really glad I didn't- lots of bad reviews on those. These are so pretty and comfortable! The two small straps compared to the one bigger strap seems it will be just as supportive, I was concerned about that because I do have a foot injury. Easy to adjust, love them!
