I needed to find a rugged sandal without a neoprene upper- this is not as easy as it sounds. I was skeptical about spending so much on sandals but these have worked out quite well. Once you break them in, they are extremely comfortable. It took a while to get used to the toe strap but the added stability is great if you are doing anything aggressive. If you only plan to wear these around town or the beach then I suggest getting the Z/1s instead.

This is my second pair of Chaco sandals with the vibram sole and they are amazing! I have fallen arches and must wear an orthotic constantly; hence, no sandals for years - until Chaco. The ones with the vibram soles are outstanding - I have worn them all day without any heel pain or problems, and they never wear out. Also, if you are a half size, buy the next size up. My feet are big, so I buy the men's shoe and they still are very cute (sorry guys!).

This is the best shoe I have ever owned. I have had a pair of these for over 10 years now (they may have been called something different back then, but look the same) and wear them all the time. I am finally ordering a new pair as the sole has finally been worn through and the black straps have faded in color a bit. But wow - what a comfortable, amazing product.

Ordered these the other day, and they were delivered the next day! Love Zappos. Other than the great service, these are my first pair of Chacos and I'm so pleased, they look and feel great. Definitely recommended!

I ordered these and had to send them back. They fit quite snug and I recommend buying a 1/2 size larger then usual to get a good fit. I wear 11.5-12 and ordered 12 and I could barely get them on.

These were for my husband and he really likes them! They arrived quickly and as described. He has smelly feet so any suggestions on cleaning them would be appreciated. :)

People rave about these shoes, but they are not for me. I have plantar fasciitis, so I was looking for a sandal with good arch support. Unfortunately, the arches on these shoes are too high, so the shoes are painful after 10 minutes of wear. I think you have to have a certain kind of feet to wear these shoes, and I don't have them.

This shoe is so legit. I pulled out of the box, followed the strap adjustment directions, and that was it. They are very comfortable to wear and the arch support is unbelievable. I used to be a tennis shoe only guy and now I am a Chaco only guy because of how comfortable they are. NOTE: you may get a little irritated or even small blisters on the inside of your big toe if you have never worn Chacos with the toe wrap. It will be better in like 2 days. Other than that small thing they are amazing!

I bought these for my brother who is 71 & wanted sandals like the ones in wore in the 1960s. He loves both the style and the comfort. Definitely a hit!

Fantastic pair of sandals, first time wearing chacos. Make sure you take the advice on adjusting the straps and leave just enough slack to get about a finger between your toe/foot and the strap. I had a little trouble getting them sized at first, but since re-doing the straps, they are fantastic.

This is my first pair of Chaco sandals. It took me a number of days to become accustomed to the supportive contour of the footbed (probably because I have low arches) and the strap adjustments, but they have proven more and more comfortable with time and many miles of walking; I'm glad to know that I'll be able to have them resoled when the time comes. I am also contemplating a second pair without a toe loop. Yes, I am one of those people who will gladly wear socks with sandals for the sake of my own comfort, scandalous though it be, for the truly cold months about to set in. In sum, I strongly recommend these sandals.

The dog eat my Z/1 style sandal and I was concerned with the enclosed big toe feature on these but these are great. Great secure fit and very comfortable.
