Great sandals. Very durable and grippy for wet climates. A tad ugly but that can\'t be helped. Nice and comfortable with great arch support.

Perfect fit. This is my second pair, the first of which I wore past the sole. When you buy them, remember that the webbing is free-flowing; that is, you can adjust the toe-snugness by pulling on the straps and they will slide between the foot bed and sole. You'll have to do this to get the exact fit you want, but once you do, look out! You'll never want to take them off again. Sizing is true to form.

I love these sandals. Very comfortable and functional. They are perfect for summer. I have worn flip flop sandals and Keen Newport sandals and I like the Chaco much better. They look and feel great. Very stable on your foot!! Thanks Zappos!!

I don't like spending alot of money on shoes, but after trying these on at a store in town, I knew I had to get them! They are ridiculously comfortable. I wear them everyday all day long and my feet feel great! These are my favorite pair of shoes I've ever bought!

I’m a big shoe person and after getting these, I’m selling most of my other shoes. There’s no need for them! I usually wear a 9, but I took an 8 wide in these. I would encourage you to get the perfect fit. Thanks to Zappos, that’s possible. I can wear a 7 in these, but the heel cup feels uncomfortable. Zappos let me return the 7s for free and get the 8s. I may never wear another shoe again. I just would encourage you not to settle for Chacos that are a little too big or small. Get it right and you and your feet will thank you. Also, I ordered these and received them in less than 24 hours. Thank you Zappos for awesome customer service!

I wanted a sandal for walking that offered arch support and comfort plus that was cooling on the feet. These sandals filled all those needs. And they have excellent arch support. I have only had them for three weeks but no issues with these sandals at all. I usually wear size 11-12 shoes but went with 13s on these and that was the right size choice. Plus again I cannot say enough about the service I get from Zappos. I love this company!

These Chaco's really work. I got turned on to Chaco's from my son and they are really comfortable. I tend to wear sandals all summer long and he wears them on the hiking trail so I will try that as well this summer. The sandals seem to make you walk better the way they are formed.

Another Great Pair - These new Chacos are even better than before. This is my third pair of chacos in the last 8 years - I had the old lug sole, then the Colorado and these are my favorites. The foot bed is also more comfortable than before. If they last anywhere near as long, I'll be ecstatic.

Love my Chacos! This is my third pair of Chaco sandals. While I would have simply sent in my last pair to be resoled, the newest iteration is quite a bit lighter than the older ones, which is a great advantage if you'll be doing a lot of walking in these sandals. I love them. They are extremely versatile: I have run in them, swam in them, played sports in them, hiked to Machu Picchu in them, and danced the night away in them. I'll always have at least one pair on hand. The only odd part I have found is that I couldn't fit into my normal chaco size (12). I had to go up one size in this new one...don't know if the sizing is slightly different or if my feet have grown.

Chaco's "no ka oi" Chacos "are the best" - My husband and I live an outdoor life on Maui 12 months a year and we do it in Chacos. We hike daily up the Puali at Makena out the lava flow at La Perouse, always on moving lava rocks. You feel your feet grip and hold balancing on the small tops of rocks. The toe loops are a must for this type of hiking. I find the diamond stealth sole the best, I wear a 7.5 and the 7 is perfect. 10 years a loyal chaco customer, and for the past few years buy from Zappos. Good deals and free shipping to Hawaii.

The best outdoor sandal on the market! The Chaco Z/2 is a step above the rest. First off, it's the only APMA approved sandal on the market, which makes them extremely comfortable, and second, they have a cool look to them. You can wear these anywhere and be comfortable. The toe loop adds nice support when in water or hiking. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, stylish sandal.

I took these on a week long hiking/canoeing/camping trip and they worked pretty darn well. I did get pretty tired of always having damp feet and wished I had a burly pair of hiking boots at times, but you can't just step out of a canoe into 2 feet of water in those. I found that the best way to wear them may be with the straps rather loose, otherwise the big toe loop gets uncomfortably tight. Consider rounding down half a size so that the fixed ankle strap remains snug while the adjustable part can be kept loose, or just get the Z-1s.

The Perfect Sandals - These sandals are fantastic. They are so comfortable that sometimes I forget I'm wearing shoes at all. I highly recommend these Chacos to anyone who is interested. I prefer the toe strap; however, that is a personal preference. I did have the luxury of trying these on at an outdoor store before ordering them from Zappos.com. If I had not had this luxury, I might have ordered a size too big. I wear a size 12 in most shoes, but I wear a size 11 in Chaco. Don't hesitate to purchase these Z/2s today! Additionally, I received my Chacos from Zappos.com in less that 24 hours from the time that I ordered them. I am extremely satisfied with the level of service provided by Zappos.com.

Pricy, but a perfect beach/water shoe - The Chaco Z/2 Unasweep. It's easy to wear, easy to clean, and is a perfect sandal for the beach or for wet hiking conditions. It is also eco-friendly, made from recycled fibers and rubber. It is pricy, but it does seem that it will last a long time. I've tried on water shoes by Adidas, Columbia, Keen, and Teva. These are by far the best-looking and the easiest to clean. No regrets on this choice.

Rock my world - I have had a pair of Z/1 for 4 years and I wanted to try this new flavor, somewhat scared by the toe loop. Have worn no other shoe for the past month and I can say that they rock like my old pair. It takes a few days to get used to the toe thingy, but past that, they're awesome. If you're shopping for sandals, I warmly recommend them. Great support, durable (I still use my old pair!) and stylish. Sigh, I wish it was summer the whole year. I should move to California.

Perfect footwear: cool, stable, comfortable... perfect - These sandals rock, I never want to take them off. They are so comfortable, they feel like an extension of my foot. They're a bit heavy and clunky, but I think that's a fine trade off for durability. Also, they seem to be wider than advertised. I normally wear an E, but the D fits. I had to return another similar Chaco E width sandal because it was too wide.

Perfect for traveling - Bought these for backpacking through Southeast Asia and they were perfect. Ideal for wet weather, sturdy enough for hiking, but light and easy to wear poolside also. The perfect shoe for a trip.

I have had Tevas for years, but the foot doctor recommended Chaco for better support. The wide width is still not quite wide enough, but it works. The main problem I have had is that the straps get tighter as I walk. It has become less noticeable as they have broken in more. I did not see any other reviews that mentioned this when I was shopping, so I don't know if it is a common problem. I also figured out that you can lay the toe part down flat by pulling the strap through all the way. This gives you the Z/1 sandal as well as the Z/2. This seemed to help the problem as well and gave my toe a break. I like how firmly the foot is held in these compared to my previous brand, and the toe strap is the key to it. It does take some getting used to. I plan to have these for many years to come as they seem to be very well made.
