I have 3 other pairs of Chaco's so when I saw this new style it was a "no brainer." I ordered the usual size and it was too big. My foot was swimming in the shoe. I had to reorder a half size smaller and I could have probably gone a whole size smaller. They have great arch support and cradle your feet but after a few hours my inner arches began to feel like I was getting blisters. I was not wearing socks and that could be the problem or it could be the inside of the shoe has seams that rub against your arch. As far as style they are a bit clunky but I rather have comfort than style.

I have previously worn only the Chaco sandals and they are excellent because I have fallen arches and wear an orthotic, which leaves out most sandals, but they have such high arch support that I have no worries. These are great shoes with or without the orthotic, except the back part of the shoe is a little too soft. Nonetheless, this is a very good shoe. I love Chacos!

These are stylish shoes! Just I wanted with arch support and an adjustable instep. Unfortunately there is an inset elastic gusset in the instep that rubs, so I cannot keep these shoes.

Wow, if you like your Chaco sandals, you will love these. The same great feel in the sole with the advantage of the foot cover to keep your toes warm. I wear the Chacos all summer, now I am wearing these in the winter.

Chaco makes outstanding footwear; these are no different. I don't even have to wear my orthotics with these, as they have plenty of support. My only complaint is the color: 'army brown'. They got the 'army' part right but it's more green than brown. That's okay though, because they're comfortable!

I've worn Chaco sandals for years. I'm on my 7th pair. Save your time and money on these and buy the Chaco Toe Coop! I bought the PedShed and Toe Coop to try both, and the huge problem with the PedShed is that the leather back half doesn't grab your heel the way the strap on the back of the Toe Coop does. Result: your heel just slides up and down the entire time you walk. The Toe Coop, however, is really great. it grabs you heel just like my Z/2 and Z/1's and keeps my feet warm with or without socks in the fall and winter. I gave the Toe Coop 5 stars all around. I wear a 10 in Chaco and also wear a 10 in the Toe Coop and PedShed.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I just put them on, and I am never taking them off. I have a hard foot to fit; very flat, wide in toe box, narrow in heel. I had to buy men's 8.5 (I am a woman, and usually wear women's 10.5) to get a wide enough toe box. With the strap, I can customize the fit to keep them on my feet. The arch support is phenomenal. I am going to order another pair. I have never written a review before, so that should tell you something.

If you want a comfortable shoe that will last for years this is your shoe. I have a pair of Chacos sandals that are 4 years old and hardly show any wear. I wear them everyday in the summer.

These are unbelievably comfortable, easy to get on and off and I love how they look. I did have to order down a full size and a half, they seem to be run quite big. I typically wear an 11, but had to go down to a 9.5 for the perfect fit.

Killer shoes. My husband put these on and hasn't taken them off since. We stand on a rubber pad, over cement and both have high arches. These are perfect for your back, will order more!

All in all the PedShed is a pretty good casual shoe. It provides lots of comfort, plenty of room, good grip, and the trademark Chaco straps. On the down side, there is too much play in the heel for me which warrants a return. Once again kudos to Zappos' shipping and return policies.

These shoes look great, fit beautifully and are supremely comfortable. I have been wearing them inside all evening. I so wish I could keep them. Unfortunately, Chaco has made the PedShed with some kind of soft, supple, shiny and yet extremely noisy lining on the inside of the upper. I am not sure if these clamorous clogs would quiet down after wearing them a while, but I do not think I could withstand the incredulous looks, smirks and stifled snickers from strangers until they do. Understand, this is not just a minor squeak or click, it is more like squeezing into a vinyl diner booth while wearing patent leather pants. Over-and-over again while you stroll along. So back they go. Because these tootsie tigers growl so loudly, I have to give them three Stars overall.

Great shoe for long walks to class, or around the hospital. You can still dress business casual while still keeping that comfort and all important arch support. On some people the length can be a tad short in some spots, but it depends on the shape of your foot. Best to try it out. Overall I love this shoe, wear it every day.

I own a pair of the Z1s, so I ordered the PedSheds in the same size. The fit is between snug and tight around the arches. I'm not complaining but if I had to re-order, I'd get a half-size or full size larger.

100 miles on them, they still feel good, the leather is holding up to minor scratches with bushes and rocks. I bought them for the Chaco foot-bed, and the ability to resole them. Since they lack the complete wrap over the foot, plan on wearing socks to keep them snug, but then again I bought them to wear places I couldn't wear the sandals. I bought the same size as my sandals, which left me room to wear wool socks if needed. If you like the support your z1s or 2s gave you over the summer, then there is no point not to get a pair of these to support you through the fall and winter.

Zappos customer service can't be beat, other companies take note! Exceptional! Remember that regular chacos are about a half size bigger than you need as a bumper. These shoes are covered and therefore you use all the area. Order a half size smaller than you chaco sandels.

Just like a pair of Chacos but covered in leather, so you don't have to give up your Chaco allegiance over the winter. I wear a size 9 in the sandals, but my PedShed shoes are a 8.5.

My feet love these shoes. If you struggle getting the proper arch support in your shoes then look no further than Chacos. I may never buy another casual shoe or boot. I typically wear a 10.5, but Chacos run about a half size larger than most. So, I have size 10 in the brown. Note that I originally ordered the PedShed in Military Brown, which is really an olive drab green. It's hard to see that on the website.
