This is my first pair of Chacos and I love them. They are leather and a little dressier (while still casual) than the regular Chacos. These sandals have great support and are comfortable. I like that the sole has a low profile and does not look as clunky as other Chacos. I was confused at first about how to tighten the straps because the inside of the box has directions for the regular Chacos. With these there are strings with knots that you need to untie, pull to desired tightness and re-tie a knot. They are not as easy to adjust as other Chacos but once they are adjusted you don't need to change them so it is a one time thing.

I've always loved Chacos and have several pairs. This is the first leather Chaco I've seen and I really wanted it. When it came, I realized that it's not adjustable like the others, so the shoe fit too loosely and I could not tighten it. Also, the main strap (the longest one) on the left shoe was about and inch longer on one shoe than the other. Had to send them back. Bummer.

Love the look, but the adjusting was too difficult. One of the adjusting strings got pulled into the panel and I was unable to get it back through. Sadly, returning them.

These sandals are really nice looking and comfy, but unfortunately there's one strap that cannot be adjusted, so they were too roomy in the end. I really liked them otherwise. If you have a more slender foot, you may have the same problem.

I wish these came in a wide width--I think they'd be great. As it is, they're too narrow for my feet (I have a wide toe box). The straps adjust by untying and retying the knots, in case you're wondering.

This was a nice looking sandal but it wasn't very amendable to adjustment. It does have strings to do so but tightening it just bunches up the leather in an unattractive way. The amount of adjustment allowed is minimal, as well. It didn't fit my foot.

Love these sandals. Just wore them for two weeks in Brazil and they were so comfortable with their great arch support. They tend to loosen a little and need to be tightened up from time to time but that is easily done. Highly recommend!

Super cute shoe, but deceptively hard to adjust. Often comes loose throughout the day. So far they've been fine, but I wonder if the leather adjustment cord is going to give way before the rest of the shoe does.

These were adjustable, if tricky to adjust, but they wouldn't adjust to fit my foot. Though I can usually wear a medium, these were just too wide for my foot.

These are super cute sandals, but they have straps that are very hard to adjust. I wish they made these for people with a narrower foot because I'd love to buy a pair that actually stayed on my foot.

Cute but doesn't fit my foot. Because I have a very high instep and moderately wide foot I was worried about it being too tight. It wasn't. But, the footbed just didn't fit my foot. The arch support came too far back towards my heel and I had to move my feet back so they were almost off the back of the shoe in order to get my arch in the right place. That then left a lot of bare shoe at the toe end. And one shoe was substantially tighter than the other...more than just the difference between my two feet would account for. And as others have said, forget adjusting the straps if you have thin feet. I couldn't even get the knots untied, let alone pull the adjusting rope and retie. So, cute shoe but not so comfortable for a short wide foot with high instep.

Very comfortable and worth the money. Still trying to adjust them perfectly, though. They come with no instructions that apply to this show and there aren't even instructions on the manufacturer's website. But no blisters and very comfy!

I've had these shoes for a few months now and love them. Based on other reviews I was nervous they would not stay on my feet. I tightened them up a lot when I first got them and have never had to do it again. I bought them because I'm pregnant and wanted comfortable and cute shoes on my feet for the summer. They are very comfortable and are great for a lot of walking. They did take a few days to break in. They felt funny when I first tried them on.

I am disappointed in this style. I love my other Chaco sandals; I have the Z1 and a pair of flip flops. I expected these sandals to have the same strong arch support and adjustable straps. The adjustable strings on these sandals do not stay tight. The arch support is better than most sandals, but not the strong support found in the X1 and flip flop styles. These sandals are priced too high for the quality of the sandal.

I really wanted to love this shoe! I usually wear a 9, which was too loose, so I tried an 8, still too loose. I could not get the straps to adjust nearly enough. I have a medium foot and narrow heel. They felt like they would be wonderful if they fit, but they only have moderate arch support.
