Excellent compression, I think my calves are a little bigger than what is recommended but the socks still work great! I also use them for basketball and they are excellent for that as well.

I'm not a runner, but wear the socks in boot camp class. The sock is comfortable and works well during the class. I brought the largest size offered , but my calves are little bigger than the largest size, so the sock rolls down a lot. Overall, my feet good with the socks and that was my real purpose for buying the sock. The box doesn't give washing instructions for the socks. I went on line and found out how to do it.

Although the sock is not that durable it does wonders for your foot and lower leg pain. These socks in combination with gravity defyer sneakers are the best combination to control foot discomfort.

Been dealing with shin splints for months now and tried these out after talking to some other people about compression socks. Ran a 10k trail race and a 15k trail race the following weekend and haven't had an ounce of shin pain. Not sure if it's the socks or running on the trails instead of the road, but I love how these feel while running so I'll be picking up a second pair. Very pleased with the purchase, just wish there was a few more color choices.
