I know that these things look silly when you're running, but they live up to all the hype. Your calves feel fresh mile after mile. In fact, your upper leg muscles feel worked out, but your calf muscles are ready to go. They work by keeping your calf muscles tight -- which eliminates muscle vibration equaling lost energy. Buy them now!

My calves were stiff and sore after my long runs and bike rides, but wearing the sleeves for recovery makes a huge difference. I wear the compression socks to work after a long workout. CEP makes better compression gear than any of their competitors. Highly recommended.

Love these sleeves. I have the socks too, but I like the sleeves better. It is nice to throw them on after a run and wear them under my pants. Then I can still wear sandals if I want to. It is also nice to run in these and wear your favorite running socks. I am kind of a sock snob, so it is nice to get the compression while still being able to wear my normal socks.

It was recommended that I use these for shin splints when I do Nia. It is like dance. I am female and purchased this mens product because it comes in a larger calf size. I am in the process of losing weight, but for now I needed the largest size. My calf is 18 inches at its largest part and the 18-20 inch fits great. I would not want it any tighter. I wore them this morning to work out and am still wearing them because they feel so good.

I have had a strained calf muscle and the sleeve seems to help. They are a little difficult to get off but I suppose that is just how these things are.

I purchased these to provide some extra support for my calf after a minor strain. The compression sleeve let me continue running pain-free while the muscle finished mending. It fit snugly but not tightly, and it was much easier to put on/remove than a compression sock.

I was a bit skeptical about whether or not these would do anything, but I've found them helpful. I wear them on long runs. Took a run or two to get used to wearing them, but now I don't really notice them and I wear them for a while after the run as well. Make sure you measure your calf to estimate what size you need.

When I first received them it felt like a fat man fitting into skinny jeans. Once I got them on however, they were a perfect fit. Just the right amount of compression to keep me going for a 24 hour orienteering race in Ashford, Washington. I plan to continue using them for my upcoming marathons and Ironman's. Hey, if Joe Gambles and Miranda Carfrae say they are good...they are all good! One tip is to be sure you read the size chart before ordering. This is very key. Godspeed.

First use of compression sleeve's and the product delivered. Long history of tight calf muscles from triathlon training and the CEP Comp Sleeves provide excellent support. Ran two 1/2 marathons in two weeks, first without and second with the CEP's. Experienced less tightness in the calves during the run with the CEP's and recovery time was improved by several days. Size was perfect based on sizing chart and proper calf measurements, and Zappos delivered excellent service as always.

If you are a runner that has problems with shin splits or recovering from a stress fracture in that area, these are great to help.

I have been a runner for some time now and recently suffered from my first shin splints. I took some time off to allow them to heal and when I came back I started feeling some pain again. The CEP compression sleeves were recommended and I am completely in love with them! My legs have never felt better. I now have three pairs. Just make sure that you measure your calf and get the right size.

Simply put, these things work. These compression sleeves provide support and make runs so much easier. I have used compression socks but I prefer these because I like to wear lightweight socks.
