I actually bought these for biking in wintertime, not for skiing. Love the zipper on the palm -- it's tucked in, so you can leave it unzipped if you're lazy and still be warm. Warning: I'm calling these true to size but I have small hands (I'm 5'2" and a girl) and the SM is *almost* too small.

These gloves are fun and beautiful. They do run small but they did keep my fingers warm. when I say small i mean they are short in finger length. I have small hands so I was surprised. I was able to make them work and they kept me warm.
