I have to say i was very happy with the necklace i purchased. i'm a big fan of statement jewelry but with this one, i always get compliments. Guaranteed when i wear it - someone always stops me to ask about it. I was hesitant at first because i was worried it might be too heavy around the neck, but it was comfortable all day long. I'm definitely looking to buy another.

I got mine in the mail and was pleasantly surprised at the uniqueness of this. It really is stunning. My only complaint is that while the ribbon closure is comfortable, this necklace can get a tad bit heavy if you wear it all day, everyday. But I guess it's meant to be a special occasion statement necklace, so can't see very many people wearing that often anyway. Big fan.

I bought the Beverly necklace as well as the Maximina necklace, and I absolutely love both. I have never seen any other kind of statement necklaces quite like these - people always stop me on the street and ask where I got it. I have looked at Anthropologie, J Crew, Banana Republic, etc. for the perfect compliment to my work attire, and it was not until I stumbled across this brand that I felt satisfied with my choices. Though they look heavy, the way that they are structured (one with a stiff cord, and one with a light ribbon) actually take off a lot of the weight. They are a lot lighter than they seem. Also, I looked up the brand and it seems that they are doing really great work to help the third world nations! Very impressive.

I love that these necklaces are handmade. They are so unique and look so different than statement necklaces you'll find at a retailer like Banana Republic. I am a big fan of jewelry and have never seen anything else like this! Big, big fan - my necklace really dresses up an outfit.

This is really unattractive. Sorry but I was expecting to wear it with a plain dress to spruce it up. It looked really cheap plastic like. I do not recommend!

I wanted to love this necklace. In fact, I do love concept/style. However, when I opened the package (which came speedily, as always, thank you Zappos) I was immediately disappointed. The black ribbon was very cheap feeling and was crinkled up. I could have looked past that. My major concern was that the "amethyst" stones were lifting. Not all of them... but some. Secondly, the stones had 2 holes. One on the top and one on the bottom. As if they were to be strung vs. applied, in application. I felt the necklace looked too "crafty". Zappos did great on both the shipping and the return!
