Boot seems well made and size is about right. Only complaint is that the boot is too open in front between the ankle and toe areas. Might work well for some with fat feet, but for narrower feet like mine it's a little sloppy.

I purchased this item in December. I was worried about the product looking as good as in the picture. My husband loves the boots. They are comfortable and look great! My younger son wants a pair. I plan to purchase a pair for his birthday. I highly recommend the boot and the service I received from Zappos!

Catepillar did a very nice job designing this boot. It's both comfortable, easy to slip on and off, and made sturdy. Very pleased with my purchase. Rubbing a little mink oil over the seams made the boot virtually waterproof, too. Plus, snow falls right off. Excellent work or casual boot. Comfortable too while walking.

Well taken care of, these boots can easily pass off as a formal shoe. If that is your intended purpose for the boots, then you're also in luck, for they are quite comfortable. Even if that isn't your style (it isn't mine either) they will age extremely well. You can count on them to keep up with you and to keep you looking sharp. Only one word of warning: While the break-in period is very short, the upward point of the boot will take you through your paces. Brave it out and you'll have yourself a great pair of boots.

Caution to the wise. This boot looks nice but may not be for rugged use. Had them for 2 days and went to take the right one off and the heel peeled right off the sole. Made in china with glue, not stitched for true durability.

Great construction, very high quality leather, fits like a glove, break in period wasn't too long. I use them for everyday work and going to the bar. I've ridden over a couple thousand miles on my motorcycle with them and in the spot that rubs the shifter they and held up better than any boot I've had.

Great looking boots. The curved up toe is more pronounced than I thought from looking at the photos, will take some time to get used to. I wear a size 9.5 and there were only size 10 in stock. Hoped they would fit, but will have to return for another style or wait for smaller size. Boots look good though!

Very comfortable boot perfect sizing unfortunately the first time I wore these boots the tab sewn on the back to hold while putting them on pulled away from the stitching!

It's funny because I read lots of negative reviews so I almost passed on these Caterpillar Vinson boots. I am so glad I did not. Don't believe everything you read. They are the most comfortable and rugged boots I have have of the 4 pairs I have bought from Zappos in the past 5 years. As of writing this review, I have been wearing them every day for 2 weeks. Before break-in I wasn't sure if they fit but they broke-in fast...about a day and fit perfect. The leather is thick and tough but totally flexible. I was surprised. I'm psyched because this was the 2nd pair I tried this go-around. I love these boots! Zappos is wicked cool.
