Light, look good, and seem really well made, like they'll break in and last a long time. Composite toe is much less noticeable than steel toes I've tried. Seems to fit big and ended up exchanging for a half-size smaller than I usually wear. Also added footbeds and seemed to need a bit more cushioning underneath.

I love this shoe! Looks good, very light-weight (composite toe included), comfortable and water proof. I wanted a shoe that is durable in the harsh north east winter which can double as an amateur hiking shoe.

My husband goes through work boots all the time with his job. He was complaining about how bad his feet would hurt, the bottoms splitting and general discomfort. Not anymore. He loves these boots, comes home and says how great his feet, back and legs feel after a hard day at work. By all means get these boots.

I am now on my second pair of these and I pretty much swear by them. They are comfortable, and lightweight. I used to have to take my boots off to breathe and rest at least once per 12 hour shift, but not with these. They have awesome traction and are very roomy. The only problem with them is that the laces seem a little weak and will need replaced eventually. The cost is very reasonable, especially with the Caterpillar name on them.
Brands I'd also recommend: Caterpillar, Muck

Awesome, but the soles feel thin. Not a big deal. The inside of the shoe - I can feel the rim or edge of the sole where it meets the wall of the shoe. An insert resolves this. Again, not a big deal. The shoes are great and I hope they hold-up for at least a year.

Boot runs a 1/2 size big, normally a 12 but had to go with 11 1/2. Fit seems to be okay other than that. Have not worn them enough to comment on durability. I do like the look of the boot.

Very nice, well built shoe. Very large though, 10.5 are just shy of 1/4 longer than my size 11 Keens. You definitely want to order at least a half size down. I am returning these for size 10.
