This shoe almost hits a sweet spot between business styled and everyday walking footwear, an area which few products are available from today's shoe manufacturers. Most shoes either very dressy and very uncomfortable or very comfortable while very casual. This shoe is rugged and padded enough that I would not hesitate to use it as my daily wear shoe. At the same time the subtle colors and leather styling makes it appropriate for most business casual environments. One warning: Sizes seem a bit off with this shoe. The size 11 was cavernous on my foot, it seemed to fit like a size 12. The size 10.5 is completely snug, a perfect fit. So you may have to return a pair or two until you find your size.

Comfortable, durable, and good looking. These shoes combined the durability of the Caterpillar boots I had purchased two years prior with the comfort of a pair of street shoes. The sole provides excellent traction and they look great with about every outfit. I have a slightly higher arch and experience back pain if I don't get a pair of shoes with good arch support. My Caterpillar boots felt great and did not give me any pain (can't say that about my Red Wings). The same can be said for these shoes. I have no back pain at all. Previously, I could only say that about Skechers, Nikes, and Adidas.

I really like these work shoes for yard work and for other chores around the house. They fit well and are very comfortable and the quality of construction is very good. I have a D width foot and these shoes fit just right. Some arch support would have made them even better for me.

I'm a 9-1/2 wide, but these shoes are only available in standard D width. I really liked the understated simple but rugged style, so I decided to try them anyway. When they arrived, I found the toe box is a nice squared off style with a nice height and width that feels great even for a wide foot. I was worried about them running long as other reviewers noted, but I ordered my regular size because I didn't want my toes to get pinched with the D width. I think if I had regular width feet, they'd they feel about 1/2 size large, but I think that is because of the large toe box area. The actual sole length is the same as all my other 9-1/2 shoes. The construction and stitching look very sturdy, the leather feels nice and thick, the sole is nice and stiff but they don't feel like planks because of a real nice curvature. They look to be very well made, and the price is great. I'm looking forward to many years of use!
