Caterpillar's quality control appears to be non-existent. Whether you order from Zappos, or directly from CAT, these boots arrive scratched, or damaged in other ways. I love the look of these boots. They felt true to width and length. I have tried a few pairs of this boot and the Tough version...each fit a bit differently (the Tough ones were not comfortable where your foot bends near your toes...the last leaving my left heel very red...and that was with thick Wolverine socks on). If you want the awesome look and 30-days to try them out (CAT offers 30 days or a full refund from them), then buy these. If you're looking for perfection (no scratches, rubber cement/glue, threads sticking out, etc), and total comfort, then this boot is not for you. For this price, they should be arriving in perfect condition. CAT pretty much doesn't care. These hurt my heels, I called to send them back, and they just said to send them back...didn't care to hear feedback. CAT also takes out $6.99 + tax for shipping back to them. I would prefer to find these boots in person to get a somewhat perfect pair, but nobody in my area carries them...no wonder.

Excellent Work Boot! They keep my feet warm and comfortable even while working in 7 inches of snow. I will definitely be buying Caterpillar boots again, when I wear these out.

This boot did live up to Caterpillar comfort level but the sole of the boot lacked in toughness. I've owned at least 8 different Cat boots and most last about a year; this one only about six months before the bottoms started wearing through.
