Not so much comfort out of the box. They felt a little odd, but after a couple days they felt great. The real test came when it came time to lay block and construct a septic tank. Up and down the ladder all day hoffing blocks and mud. The last thing I thought about was how my feet felt. They never felt better and at the end of the day there was no "tired feet feeling." These shoes are great and I give them a rough work out. Clean them up a bit and they are ready to wear anywhere.
I'd also recommend: Wolverene makes some great work shoes as well

This is the most comfortable work shoe. One of those shoes that feels perfect as soon as you put it on. Great to work in slip proof sole is seriously slip resistant. Zappos is amazing! Ordered my shoes on Wednesday wearing them on Friday, same week. No charge for this shipping. Yes, Zappos!

This is my first purchase of Caterpillar safety shoes. I chose the Argon for their attractive out-door'sy look. The composite toe makes the shoe lightweight for all day wear. These shoes were comfortable from the minute I put them on and thru-out the day of wearing them. I read the reviews regarding their sizing and I felt they fit true to size, as far as comparing them to several styles of Teva shoes and sandals that I currently wear. As far as comfort, I'd rate them up there with my Teva Riva Leather eVent (that being a compliment to Caterpillar on the Argon!!!). If I ever do a job where safety shoes are not required again, I will gladly wear these while hiking around rocky trails (National Parks, etc.) as the tread pattern lends to very good traction.

I've been wearing these shoes for about a month now. They seem to be very durable and well made. They broke in after about a week. I use them during summer and winter so I'm hoping during hot/cold and wet/dry environments, they will be the solution. So far a great product!

It took a long time to break this shoe in and after breaking it in I had to put an insole in it to be able to wear it all day. I would not recommend this shoe if you are on your feet all day. It is a good looking shoe but not made for walking for long periods of time.
