I wanted to love this skirt! Ordered my usual size medium. The waist was huge. Felt sloppy on. Length good. Color was off from web pic. It's really aqua and brown. Looked more like aqua and cream on the site. Hard to match tops. It went back

I have 3 carve skirts. In fact, I wrote the first review about finding a blouse to match, I did. The carve skirts, that I have, are more A line, a fuller skirt. These are straight down and just too narrow for me. Otherwise they are great. I have to send them back.

I'm 5'5" and rocking my winter weight right now so I wanted a rashguard that's a little more forgiving around the midsection than the usual skintight numbers for an upcoming surf trip. This is perfect. I wear a size 8 and got a medium. The fit isn't too tight or too loose. It skims the body without being clingy. The material is soft and seems like it's of good quality. Love the half-zipper because it makes getting the top off and on easier. I know this will come in handy after surfing. This also has the added benefit of not looking totally like a rashguard. It could double as a workout top or as an extra shirt while on vacation. It's really thing and light. One thing that I didn't know when I purchased this top is that it's made in the USA. Love that! I read a review on another site that says the stitching fell apart after a few washes. I'm guessing that person washed it in a machine and dried in a dryer as this is what the printed instructions say. I think Carve Designs got it wrong with that one. I've never owned a rashguard or swimsuit that says it's okay to wash and dry in machines. The instructions always say to rinse off and air dry flat or hanging. After seeing the material I'd say do not throw it in the machines. I plan to treat this like my other rashguards and swimsuits -- rinse and dry flat -- and I think it'll last a long time.

This shirt has a lot of potential, but isn't executed well. The fabric is fine, but for the cost, I think that the pin tuck tuxedo stitching should be even across the bottom. If you zoom in to the bottom of the placket, the edges of the pin tuck detail are a bit ratty and seem cut off at different places. If this had been turned under instead of cut off, I think the shirt would look a lot better. Also, the tag sewn into the back had white stitching showing through the back of the shirt, which just looks cheap to me. The "Tahoe Shadow" color was a nice, dark teal with black stripes (seriously, who makes up these names?). I am 34DD and the buttons actually sat well so that it was flattering to my bust without being terribly revealing. I had difficulty deciding between a M and L, as I almost always do.

This shirt is ok, but for $60, I don't want all polyester. I got the Port Aquarium color, and it's a dark purple with a design printed on top, so I didn't think it looked great and didn't think it would hold up well over time. It is a bit thick, as the other reviewers noted, but I thought it was reasonable for a button-down. I ended up returning it.

This shirt was almost perfection. I agree with the other review that its almost a fine sweater type feel. (Think fancy cardigan) I ordered my normal size M and it was pretty fitted which was fine with me except the length was just too short in the front and I am self conscious of my tummy area and like full coverage. i am only 5'4" 1/2 and the model says she is 5'5" and i feel the shirt looks longer on her than it did on me. Sizing up to get a longer length would just make the top portion fit sloppy in my opinion since the arms aren't tight fitting (I have fuller upper arms and loved the fit of the sleeves)!

I love this swim suit! I originally ordered a SM but it was slightly too big and so I order the XS and it fit great! I am 5'4" and 125 pounds.

Sweet little fall dress. Super simple, clean lines, looks very cute on my hourglass figure. I wear it with tights and slouch boots, small colorful scarf and cute earrings for a nice crisp look to step out on an autumn day, feeling sharp and good. Fabric is soft yet solid, design and construction of this piece totally work. Love it!

Love it! Just wish I'd bought it earlier in the summer. I'm 57 yrs. old, 5'6", wear 12s-14s/large in most clothes. The size large suit fit perfectly. As a few others noted, the suit is extremely flattering, provides good coverage, and is stylish. I do mostly lake swimming, some chlorine pool swimming in winter. It's true, the straps don't alway lie flat, but not a problem for me. I received many compliments on this new suit!

Initially I was thrilled to wear this shirt; however, there are some drawbacks. First of all, the material is very thick. I like a thin, black jersey. The material is more like a sweater (sort of). It's difficult to describe the fabric. The armholes are quite large (I have small arms) but I didn't notice this until I had worn the shirt many times (so it is not obvious). Overall, I love this kind of a shirt for traveling: small pockets, stretch, slightly longer length, roll up sleeves, nice buttons.

The Catalina top is my favorite bathing suit. It stays in place for water sports. It is sporty, yet feminine. I own this top in several patterns but the Indigo Tulum might be my favorite color pattern. I highly recommend it.

I find these bottoms very flattering. I'm 5 7, 133 lbs and not young. I do find that they pull down a bit when diving in. Remains to be seen if they will stay on while surfing. I like the fit better than Patagonia's sunamee bottoms.

Finally found the suit! Very nice quality with a print and fit that is both retro and current. Plus it looks really good on! Slimming through the mid section and enough coverage on the backside! This is not a matronly suit. The low back scoop gives subtle sex appeal. I felt confident running around on the beach and doing other outdoor water activities. Never once felt like I was having wardrobe malfunctions! This might help in ordering: I am 5'6 and 120lbs. 34-26-36 Usually wear size 4/6. I ordered a medium and it fits great.

The bottoms do not fit snug like more expensive suits. I would not recommend this. It's worth the money to not sag.

The two carve dresses were thinner material than is flattering on a bit of a bumpy body, and the horizontal stripes, which aren't as pronounced in the picture than they are in real life, don't help my cause either. Returned it.

I really love the Indigo Tulum print but feel like the horizontal stripes make me look a little hippy (which I am not especially). So, this would be a great suit for a woman trying to accentuate or create curves but maybe not ideal for a truly curvy figure. I ordered a Small (I am 5'11, 130lb, 34C) and it fits really well and I don't find it to be particularly long like other reviewers mentioned but I expect that is due to my height. I did end up returning it for a size Medium, however, because I felt like the Small was really skin tight and I prefer a slightly looser top. The Medium is still nicely fitted in the bust but gives me a little room around my waist without being wrinkly or baggy.

I love the idea of the reversible print but the finishing wasn't perfect. Understandably, the seams have to be stitched somewhere but it looks much better on one side (printed) than on the other (solid color). I don't think anyone would ever notice because of the placement of the seams but if details like that matter it's nice to know. Fit was great - true to size (I didn't have to size up to avoid the bottom squeeze that lots of suits create). Not completely full coverage but flattering and stays in place, which is important for an active mom like me!

I love this dress! It fit perfectly and comfortably. If you match the bust and hip sizes to the chart included, you should be fine. :)

The seams on the edge are fairly strong and dig into my butt. The Tommy Bahama Pearl Solids Hipster Bottom and Soybu Surf Bottom have more gentle seams.

This is a very comfortable bathing suit. I bought it in a medium. It has ample room to cover your rear end and doesn't ride up at all. Also, the shoulder straps stay securely in place. Never had to adjust the suit in any way while wearing it and swimming. The only fault is that the pads inside the bra section drift around and I had to take them out.

This is a great bottom -- good back coverage with no moving around and slipping! It also holds up well over time. I wear it nearly every day, and it's in great shape -- including multiple weekly washings. Only issue is the duke lot changed from last year, so my new bottom does not exactly match my navy Curve tops from last season. Fits true to size.
