These run about 1.5 sizes too small. I had to order twice to get the right size. Otherwise, they are great!

The shoes are a great value for the money. I ordered the correct size and had to return and reorder one size larger because they really do run small. Great shoes though!

This shoe is working out perfectly for me. I am a first-time tapper so I didn't know exactly what to buy. I did buy 1/2 size larger than my street shoe size and it seems to be perfect. The taps seem good and securely fastened.

These are good shoes, but run very small. My daughter wears a 2.5 in the Capezio Mary Jane 3800C. In this shoe, the Capezio Yette Mary Jane, she wears a 4.5. The price on the Tyette is better, and we needed a black shoe just for her recital. The one complaint my daughter had was that the lining bunched under her toes. There is a thin fabric that covers the insole; it is this fabric that bunches up. Not very comfortable for dancing! I looked at it but couldn't figure out how to get it to stay. Maybe a glue? Or maybe just rip it out altogether? Recital is over now and I'm sure they'll be too small next year anyway.

These shoes hold up well and the sizing seems to be very accurate. We had to loosen the screws to make the taps louder, but that was simple enough. One thing I didn't know in advance was that our dance studio only keeps the very young students in the solid sole tap shoes. My daughter is just 8 years old, but the dance studio has pushed her ahead a couple of times, so she is now in a class that is doing toe and heel stands so she needs to be in the split-sole taps. A good thing to clarify with your dance teacher before you buy. The best thing about Zappos is that you can return the shoes for up to 365 days!

My tap classmates are jealous. Capezio is grand, the price is fabulous and there is no word created yet for the customer service at Zappos. I would do it again and again, tap, tap, tap.

I am taking tap lessons for the first time ever for the exercise. I didn't want to spend a lot of the shoes since I wasn't sure how long I would need them...I'm having a lot of fun and the shoes are super cute! They do seem a little small though. I probably would suggest ordering a half size bigger.
