Great performing shoe (runs small)! Of course Zappos delivery was quick and the price was right. I just love your service! The only thing is that I ordered 2 sizes to check the fit (and return the other): one pair in my regular size, and one pair one size up. I tried the one-size-up pair first, and found it a bit too snug in the toebox. So today I'm back on the site to order two sizes up from my regular street size! Other than that, the shoe did feel comfortable, and the split sole surface appears that it would be great for my purposes (turns, slides, and shuffles in Zumba class). I'm excited about the shoe, just disappointed that the Capezio sizing is so off. (Come to think of it, maybe I did hear once that Capezios run small, I must have forgotten.) Also with this style, I agree with the one poster who said she kind of had to "ram" the foot in there because the shoe material is so puffy, I get what she meant now! I don't feel that the profile of the shoe is overly puffy though, it is fairly sleek, and will look great with longer flare style exercise pants. I also like the toggle laces; will be really quick to change shoes when I get to the gym!

I ordered jazz shoes online on a Monday. The price was very competitive. They were delivered in 3 days and fit perfectly. The process was painless and perfect! I would definitely purchase from Zappos.com in the future!

These are my first pair of dance sneakers, so I was nervous if I would like them and find them useful for exercise dancing (Zumba). I was delighted to find that I can do dance steps more easily in them and that they fit snugly, but are very comfortable. I also like the way they look. (I got the white pair, because I think they look better than black sneakers.) The toggle is very easy to use, and I tuck it under the laces at the last minute that I am tightening them so it won't protrude.

I, too, bought these shoes for Zumba class after having knee problems in my regular crosstrainers. I bought 1/2 size bigger than normal. They fit snugly at first and I was afraid my toes might rub, but they conformed and feel great now. I really need arch support and they provided good support there. They aren't the absolute cutest shoes in the world, but that was not my goal! I'm very satisfied with them.

Dance shoes - I got the shoes for Zumba class, and they have made a huge difference in the way I'm able to move safely. I was twisting my knees in regular sneakers, but these glide while still maintaining traction. I got a full size above what I usually wear, and they fit great. My only complaint is that they are so ugly. The top and sides poof out and look ridiculous, so I always wear long pants with them. I'll likely try the lace-up kind this summer for a sleeker look.

Bob - I purchased this shoe for my Zumba exercise class and found that it allows me to glide on the exercise floor but still gives me enough grip for control. I did have to buy the shoe 1.5 size above normal. The shoe does fit snug but you want that in a dance shoe. It feels funny at first but is fine after a short break in time.

Order street shoe size for best fit - I am very happy with these for zumba class. They are perfect w/ additional insoles for arch support. I took the advice of other Capezio reviewers who said to order up in size; that was the wrong thing to do. After trying 3 different sizes I found my regular street shoe size is the one that fits best in these dance shoes. Thank you Zappos for your excellent return policy and free shipping!

Perfect for Zumba! This is a terrific shoe for anyone who enjoys Zumba. It is very soft and cushioned (feels like an inch of squishy comfortable material inside the shoe. Additionally, the lack of a middle sole allows for a great deal of foot mobility, especially if you're standing on your toes. Most importantly, the plastic sole slides across the floor, which eliminates the sore knees you get wearing regular gym shoes that stick when you pivot. I felt like wearing these shoes measurably enhanced my performance and I had no soreness in my feet or legs after class. These are also amazingly comfortable right out of the box. I wore without socks for an hour class and didn't have even the beginning of a blister. I did not have any sizing issues of the kind that are noted on Zappos page for this shoe...I am a woman's size 11 and that is the shoe I bought. They fit perfectly, but due to all the squishy padding, I had to sort of ram my feet in the first few times I wore them. Great, great shoe for any exercise class that uses dance.

This shoe is great - I bought this shoe for my dance class in college and the class is Swing, Latin, and Slow and the shoe allows you to turn very easily.

Nice little shoe, but sizing was a problem. I usually wear orthotics in my various workout shoes (running, walking, aerobics, cross-training) and I do fine buying one half size up. I did the same with the Toggles. They just fit, without the orthotics, but they didn't have enough arch support for my very flat feet. I slipped in the orthotics. Whoa – they were very uncomfortable then. So I'm returning the first pair and purchasing a full size up from my street shoes. So just a warning for those with orthotics: Buy a full size up from street shoe size. I was going to give the shoe four stars rather than five because of this, but then I realized it's not really the shoe's fault. It's a cool little shoe. I'm going to wear it for Zumba. It is fantastic for the turns and shuffles. It turns Zumba into an entirely different experience than wearing regular athletic shoes. The shoes themselves are actually very comfy. I like them. I simply need them a little larger for the orthotics. Zappos service, as always, is phenomenal. Yay Zappos!

Best aerobic dance shoe ever! I am glad I read the reviews for this shoe and took the advice of others. This is one fantastic dance shoe. I teach Zumba (Latin dance inspired fitness) and these are perfect for pivoting, sliding, etc. I did add some shock absorbers for the times when I jump, but other than that, best money I have ever spent. And Zappos is super fast on shipping!

Go ahead and dye it! I bought these for zydeco dance in my regular shoe size. Occasionally I can wear an 8 in some shoes - but I did get these in 8.5 and they fit great. If you get white ones like I did, keep in mind they look kind of puffy. A little like wearing bright white pillows on your feet. I dyed mine an ecru color and like them sooo much better now that they're not blazing white. Get the canvas dance sneaker if you want a more streamlined shoe.

Capezio Toggle Dance sneaker - It's true to size. A little difficult to get on and there's too much gap around the ankle. This is my first time with a toggle and with a dance shoe of this type, so it might take some getting used to. I should have chosen black instead of white, however.

Hug your feet and looks good. However, there's no ventilation at all, so your feet will sweats just wearing it.

Very nice! I needed a shoe for Contra dancing and this works great. They are very light-weight but have enough support so I don't feel like I might roll an ankle. I ordered the size that fits my larger foot and it worked fine, so I would say true to size. I would like a little more cushion under the ball of my foot since I'm on it so much, but it wasn't bad.

I purchased this shoe for night club dancing. I normally wear a size 11 street shoe and tried it on in various sizes and finally purchased it in a size 13. It is extremely comfortable although I have to admit, I am not that crazy about the split sole - I have flat feet/low arch - considering putting in arch supports... or returning for another type of dance shoe. Side note: The online reviews are exceptionally helpful in making selections. Thanks!

Capezio toggle canvas dance sneaker - I purchased these wonderful shoes after having used its "older sister" the canvas lace sneaker for a year now. I love both styles, but the simplicity and speed the toggle works (and also holds securely) is definitely a great upgrade. I did decide to go down a half size and get it on my true street shoe size (11), and found it a much more supportive fit after just a couple uses. I can even stand up on the tip, nice snug fit. I am very delighted that I found these shoes, having a skinny heel and a wide forefoot it's hard for me to be fit with any shoe. I use them for Zumba, but I love to leave them on for errands or just to walk around. they provide excellent arch support, the supple cloth material they are made of hugs your arches wonderfully after tightening the toggles, yet gives give you the freedom to flex your feet any which way. Very nice shoes, a great buy, and Zappos has the best customer service and fastest shipping. Try it, you'll like it!

I ordered this shoe for my son to wear in his jazz class. Being unsure of what size he would need, I ordered two pairs of the shoes to be sure of the fit. I ended up keeping the smaller of the two pairs to wear to work with jeans. They are incredibly comfortable. The shoes are a size and a half larger than my usual size. Be sure to order up!
