As expected - Only one comment: There is little to no padding, so standing or dancing for long period of time is hard on the feet.

Great dance shoe at a reasonable price. Shoe fits snug and I have a narrow foot so this works well for me.

I would recommend this shoe to others who are just beginning dance. The heel is high enough to make you feel like a professional dancer and yet low enough for comfort. I also purchased a pair with 21/2 inch heel I would rate them as having the same qualities.

So comfortable. These shoes have fantastic arch support. They are comfortable ALL NIGHT, even with a few dance numbers thrown in. I wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9, which felt good.

Capezio T - The picture matched my purchase very well. However, the size I purchased was 10Wide and this shoe is not wide at all. Length is true to size but not width. Everything else is accurate.

Salvatore Capezio was born in 1871 in Muro Lucano, Italy. Uninterested in following in his father’s footsteps as a construction engineer, he became an artist of his own right, a cobbler. In 1887, at the age of 17, he opened his shop on Broadway and 39th Street, diagonally across from the old Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. Soon, the shop became a meeting place for dancers who would stop by to discuss their needs and to get a pair of his shoes. As Capezio’s popularity grew, dancers from around the world made it a point to visit him and purchase his shoes.

The innovation of the products that Salvatore Capezio created and the camaraderie he shared with the dancers molded the direction that his company would follow. In this image, the Capezio brand was established to promote and recognize ongoing achievements and participation in dance.

Good support but snug in toe - I like this shoe. It's sturdy but a little snug in the toe. At a "W" width, I expected a little more comfort. Fine for a night of dancing on a crowded floor. Not a finesse shoe but serviceable.

Great shoes for dancing!! I needed a pair of shoes that would be comfortable and also look kind of 1920ish-I had a costume party/dance to attend. These shoes worked out great-I danced all night and they were comfortable-the arch support was really nice. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for an overall great dance shoe.

I really like these shoes. I ordered the wide, but they are not wide at all. They do fit, but are a little snug in the front. I do like them though as the heel is nice and low and they look very neat. It would be nice if they were just a little rounder in the front so they wouldn't fit so snug. The shoe has a very good arch support. That is a plus +.

Dancin' Shoes - The shoe is comfortable, I ordered 1/2 size up based on other reviews & am glad I did. They fit perfectly that way. I wish the nail on the heel was in bit more, but it does not mar any surfaces the way it is.

Yes, they _do_ run narrow - I ordered these based on the Capezio name, and the fact that they're leather rather than a synthetic material. I ordered both a 6.5 (my usual size) and a 7, based on reviews here; the 6.5 is a slightly better fit. I then ordered a pair of Leo's T-Strap based on the large number of very positive reviews of that shoe -- which looks practically identical but is synthetic, not leather -- and they feel _wonderful_. They're wider and softer. I recommend them for anyone interested in this shoe but worried about the narrow widths.

    Brands I'd also recommend: Leo's T-Strap

Exactly what I needed! I was drafted to choreograph and perform in a can can number for six ladies with one week's notice. My character shoes have taps on them for another production I am in. I knew I needed another pair, but super-fast! The closest place to buy women's dance supplies is two hours away from me. I read all the reviews, liked the t-strap look, bit the bullet and ordered my true size- 7.5. Arrived overnight!! Fit perfectly, began wearing immediately for practice. I have a very average width foot. They were snug, but you can't dance in a sloppy shoe!! They felt just as I expected and after three days they were molded to my foot exactly. I could not have asked for more, and I know I will get five years dance out of these. Worth every penny...and the can can was the hit of the show.

Great shoes! I ordered these for a March wedding. I love the style! And I'm glad I used the suggestion to order a half size up (I’m a 9 but ordered 9 1/2). They went well with my red dress and feel oh so good!

Capezio T-Strap - I'm having a BIG problem with this shoe: The straps are too thick for me to thread through the metal part in order to strap shoe comfortably, so I'm going to have to return it unless you think a shoemaker can fix problem!

Great stable shoe - I'm just learning to Tango dance and was looking for a high heel that I wouldn't injure myself in. These are very stable and comfortable, even for someone not used to wearing heels higher than 1/2 inch.

Capezio T-Strap - I like the shoe, it is very comfortable and true to size. I wear 9W and I had enough room in the shoe. I recommend this particular shoe for dancing and work especially if you are going to be on feet for several hours.

Capezio T-Strap - I ordered the shoe and three working days later it was at my door; fast, safe and quick delivery. The shoe is comfortable and fashionable. I needed a pump that was dressy and comfortable for work and this is a perfect solution for dress or casual wear.

capezio's t strap - I was amazed at the comfort level of these shoes. I never wear high heels but I wanted to find a pair to wear to my daughter's wedding that I could dance in. I wore these for 7 hours and my feet felt fine until the last hour or so. They have a lot of stability for dancing!

Good shoe for ballroom practice - This shoe would be perfect for practicing ballroom dancing. However, at least for me, it fit a size too small. I am normally a 7, but it was too short. Otherwise, a great buy and comes in narrow!

Great dance practice shoe - I bought this shoe because of the T-strap just for some variation in my dance shoes. It is a nice-looking shoe for ballroom practice. Comfortable with sufficient toe room and the heel height is attractive but still practical. I did buy a half size larger than I wear in street shoes, but I find that in almost all my dance shoes, I need that half size larger. But I would say that the shoe is most likely true to size. I have long toes so I need the extra toe room when I am on the dance floor. I would highly recommend this shoe for dancing.

Brands I'd also recommend: Any Capezio shoe.

I'm a dancer/musical theatre undergraduate student, and I needed a shoe that was classy and very durable. I am very hard on my shoes, and so getting a non-leather shoe was not an option! These shoes are fabulous! They are a little bit narrower than marked. I am a 7M, and they feel a bit tight in the width, but the length is great. Just take them to a shoe shop and have them stretch the width out and you're good to go!
