Surprisingly, the shoes are comfortable for dancing. I recommend them but for me, I had to order a half size larger and a wider width. They tend to run narrow and shorter. I am happy with them since I have not had heels on my feet for many years.

These work for my narrow feet, but I do need to use the strap on the tightest hole. My feet are not super narrow, just a narrow heel. The price is great, and they are great for a beginning or intermediate dancing shoe. They run true to size.

Zappos made shopping for dance shoes a breeze. I received the shoes in just a couple of days. I was able to try on and compare different styles and sizes right in my home to find the best fit for me. After I had made my choice, returning the other choices was a breeze. Zappos makes returns a simple and efficient process. The Capezio T-strap shoes fit true to size and seem to be of good quality.

I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit due to my narrow heel and more average ball of the foot. Zappos is my saving grace! This is the second pair of shoes I have bought from Zappos and they fit just as well as the Vanelis I bought the first time. They are so comfortable, the heel is not too high, but high enough to be stylish, and the shoe runs true to size. Additionally how can you not love a retailer that gives you upgraded shipping just because? These shoes arrived in one day! I am so impressed and will be a customer for life.

The shoes are extremely comfortable. I was able to attend a wedding, dance and walk all day without discomfort the first time I wore them. This is quite unusual for me. They also are true to size and a very good buy. They come up a bit higher in the back so they are a good fit for those that wear inserts.

Salvatore Capezio was born in 1871 in Muro Lucano, Italy. Uninterested in following in his father’s footsteps as a construction engineer, he became an artist of his own right, a cobbler. My favorite Capezio shoe is the T-Strap. My husband and I dance country western. My first pair was 26 years ago. I had black and beige. I wanted more colors, but they weren't available. When the beige shoes got so scuffed (from husband stepping on me) the shoe man dyed them a light gray for me...to match my husband’s boots!! The black ones are being resoled and heeled for the third time! The first time I wore them, they fit like a glove...and to my delight I didn't get any blisters. I am the proud owner of 5 pair now and I won't wear anything else for dancing or when I get dressed up. There is nothing else that compares...and Zappos was wonderful to deal with. Thank you Zappos. I look forward to many more years of doing business with you.

This is a great shoe!! I have unusual feet - 10 AA and I wasn't sure these shoes would be very comfortable when I received them because they still felt a little wide. My fears were totally unfounded because the first time I wore the shoes I danced for 2 hours and they were extremely comfortable! That was the first time I wore them! I was shocked! I would highly recommend them!

I thought I liked this shoe, but I wore it once on the stage and the heel started to wobble on the right shoe. My foot slid forward and the heel bent backward, like it would snap off if I put too much weight on it. I am not a very heavy person, so I am sure the heel should not loosen up from standing on it! It's just not well-attached to the sole. The design is bad...needs some kind of connecting bridge between the heel and the rest of the shoe to prevent it from separating from the sole. I am very disappointed but Zappos is great and said I could return it because it's defective. I have ordered some other brands to try to replace the shoe, in a mary jane style to look like a theatrical shoe. This shoe is cheap and you get what you pay for! I like the Capezio professional line...costs three times the price, but they are sold out of the lower heels in my size. I have the 3" Professional Stage t-straps and needed a low heel.

I am in a theatrical production and needed a medium low heel that I can really run across the stage in. I have the 3" Stage Professional T-strap of Capezio's, but I needed to be able to run in these. I usually wear a size 8M, but I got several pairs in different sizes and the size 8.5W fit me just right with room to put in an orthotic. However, this is the first Capezio I ever saw with padding and an arch support already! Even the expensive Professional ones I already have no padding or arch support! I really like these and they don't look wide even in the wide width. Only thing is I wish Capezio would standardize their fit and sizing! I'm sick of trying to guess what size I wear! Thank goodness for Zappos and their great shipping and return policy! Got 'em overnight and have the others already packed to send back. I love Zappos!

These are very comfortable for the height of heel and look very nice. I wanted dance shoes, however, which need to have a suede sole instead of the leather or man-made sole that these have. Otherwise, these are great!

First time I used Zappos - best online ordering I've ever done! The shoes are stylish, but the heel a little higher and tighter than I prefer.

I had bought a different pair of character shoes, but they fit so strangely and were uncomfortable. I bought these instead and they are wonderful! Very comfy, I could stand around all day and my feet didn't hurt. I also like that they come in narrow width, so they fit perfectly. Highly recommended, just order 1/2 size up.

Great dance shoes - I am a belly dancer who needed some dance shoes for dancing in a restaurant. These shoes are very comfortable and make it easy for me to go on the ball of my feet to do some of the movements. I love them. As with all Capezio products, I had to order half a size bigger than my street shoe size.

I read the reviews and took the advice to order a half size bigger than I normally wear. I am glad I did. They would be too tight had I ordered my "regular" size. I have been dancing in them for 8 days straight and they are very comfortable.

I love my Capezio’s<3 -
I have always worn Capezio shoes for dance so when I was looking to purchase a new pair of characters, I naturally chose Capezio. These shoes are very comfortable and easy to dance in, plus they look great while you are doing it. I especially like how the t-strap elongates my lines.

I'm a dancer/musical theatre undergraduate student, and I needed a shoe that was classy and very durable. I am very hard on my shoes, and so getting a non-leather shoe was not an option! These shoes are fabulous! They are a little bit narrower than marked. I am a 7M, and they feel a bit tight in the width, but the length is great. Just take them to a shoe shop and have them stretch the width out and you're good to go!

Great dance practice shoe -
I bought this shoe because of the T-strap just for some variation in my dance shoes. It is a nice-looking shoe for ballroom practice. Comfortable with sufficient toe room and the heel height is attractive but still practical. I did buy a half size larger than I wear in street shoes, but I find that in almost all my dance shoes, I need that half size larger. But I would say that the shoe is most likely true to size. I have long toes so I need the extra toe room when I am on the dance floor. I would highly recommend this shoe for dancing.
