Way Too Small - This shoe for some reason looks much larger online. When I received them and saw the size, I had to laugh. I wear a size 9W and my mother was with me at the time, she wears a 7 in Narrow, they almost fit her. There is also no stretch whatsoever on this shoe at the tip. Moral of story is it is hard to find Ballet shoes if you have larger feet.

It's a good ballet shoe - According to what we read on this site about this shoe, we ordered street size. NO GO. Returned and ordered one full size larger than street size. They fit. But the elastic braces that can with it were two different sizes; we kept them anyway because we had no more time to fuss.

Just didn't fit well - I think they are not cut for long narrow feet. My toes ache because they run very small. In fact, they felt a full size smaller. I wear a 13M and I ordered 14 they were much too tight! I needed them right away but I can only wear them for about thirty minutes.

Finally a NARROW width! My daughter struggles to find shoes that are narrow enough for her feet. These ballet slippers fit very well. We ordered a size larger for space to grow, and they are perfect. The width fits very well.

Way too small - These were for my son, who has a very wide foot, so we ordered wider AND larger than the size guide indicated; however, still way too small and had to be returned.

Salvatore Capezio was born in 1871 in Muro Lucano, Italy. Uninterested in following in his father’s footsteps as a construction engineer, he became an artist of his own right, a cobbler. In 1887, at the age of 17, he opened his shop on Broadway and 39th Street, diagonally across from the old Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. Soon, the shop became a meeting place for dancers who would stop by to discuss their needs and to get a pair of his shoes. As Capezio’s popularity grew, dancers from around the world made it a point to visit him and purchase his shoes.

The innovation of the products that Salvatore Capezio created and the camaraderie he shared with the dancers molded the direction that his company would follow. In this image, the Capezio brand was established to promote and recognize ongoing achievements and participation in dance.

Capezio products remain in the forefront in quality and in technological advances with innovations like the split-sole, the stretch-insert, the Dansneaker® and the Tapsneaker. Capezio believes that their success is dependent upon the individual commitment of each customer to continually set new standards of creativity and performance, while preserving a reputation for dependability and distinction. Capezio pledges their support and dedication to the advancement of dance, theater and recreation in communities worldwide.

I Don't Dance...Don't Ask Me! I can't dance a step, but I use these shoes for driving to compensate for the very close fit of how the car's pedals are located. Ballet shoes do the job and are a lot cheaper than racing driver's shoes! I ordered a 12 based on the caveat that the shoe ran small. I normally wear a 10, and these shoes still were too tight!

Capezio's Split Sole Ballet - Absolutely love the shoe...comfort and look excellent. My street shoe size is ladies 4 1/2, and I ordered a 5 1/2 which fits well. I am so happy to have found Capezio's again. Two of my daughters danced, and this was the brand we chose.

Nice narrow ballet shoe! I have very narrow feet and was delighted to find a ballet shoe in a narrow. I need a half size longer than I normally wear. The shoe is more beige than pink, but I like the color.

Great ballet slipper - Like many others, I ended up ordering this a half-size larger than my street size. I have a narrow foot, however, so I was thrilled to see this in a narrow width, which my local store does not carry. For the first time, I have a ballet slipper that fits like a glove! Thanks to Zappos for the free shipping as I tried various sizes and returned them until I found just the right one. You have a customer for life!

If Not a Ballerina this is a Perfect House / Yoga shoe - I got these for around the house (hard wood floors) & Yoga class (I hate those mats w/ bare feet). Perfect on both counts.

Great ballet slipper - I ordered this shoe to avoid having to wear the ballet slippers provided by wardrobe for my role in a Shakespeare play. I ordered a half-size smaller than my street shoe -- which makes these a tiny bit tighter than I'd like. But, I'm keeping them since I'll only wear them on stage. If I were using them in the dance studio, I'd want my exact street shoe size. The shoe is nicely made, comfortable, and looks like it will wear well.

Love the comfort - Slipper is fantastic, I even bought the pink ones! Love the style they add to jeans and skirts. What I have learned is no walking on gravel or when it is raining; They are not really built for that kind of wear.

Runs small - I ordered a half size larger than my street size, and this shoe is still so small I can't straighten my toes. It's a full inch shorter than my foot. The narrow is very narrow.

Good for All, Great for None - A very generic slipper. Once I finish stretching it a half size, it will be comfortable, I believe, but it will take some time to come to fit my foot in other respects.

Capezio Split Sole - Very comfortable same excellent quality as in the 60's. I decided to purchase this item because of the name and the quality I knew to be connected with this brand. Since ballet slippers are in style, I decided to buy these instead of the ones shown in the stores. I wear them around the house, and since they fold so easily, will use them as travel slippers.

Exactly what I needed - I bought these (size 11. in white) to wear with a Halloween costume, they were perfect. I have wide feet and had no problems with the fit. The only thing I can recommend is to NOT walk over extremely bumpy terrain wearing them. Ouch! Otherwise a perfect fit and quite comfy.

Capezio Split Sole Ballet - These definitely run a half to full size smaller than marked. Very good slippers though ... I know I will buy more in the future.

Good - My daughter that I bought the shoes for wore them to a Halloween school dance, as a woodland fairy and the costume and the shoes matched perfectly.
