Yes, it is pretty pricey for a child's jazz shoe, but it is very high in quality and sturdy. The style is also a little unique to other slip-on/boot-style jazz shoes out there. My daughter usually wears an 11.5 in street shoes with a little room for her toes to wiggle, but I ordered a 12.5 medium. It fit very well on her with a little bit of room to wiggle her toes, but since her feet are wide, it was a little too snug on top. So I am exchanging it for a 12.5 wide. Buy this, you won't regret it and they look great. My picky and drama-queen-ish daughter loves them.

My daughter loves these dance shoes. They ran a full size smaller. She wears 11.5 and had to buy 12.5.

These shoes are great and my daughter says they are very comfortable! I was so happy to find them. I had taken her to the local dance shop and she could not get into any of the slip-on jazz shoes they carried. She is a tiny little girl with wide feet and she cannot stand anything too tight. We ordered these in wides and went up one shoe size from her tap and ballet shoes and these were perfect. We have always gone up a shoe size for her jazz shoes even in previous years. These look great on also. Much nicer than the higher jazz shoes. I am very happy with the purchase and Zappos' quick shipping.
