My 3 year old has been begging for tap shoes, and when I saw the price on these how could I say no? She has a very wide foot and even the wides look narrow. I couldn't believe she could get her foot in, and she promises me they are comfortable (even when I told her we could find some that fit better) but they look tight to me. She wears them every day at home and to tap class and she loves them. They are very nice looking shoes, but if your kid has very wide feet you might want to try a different brand or style.

Ordered a size 10.5 Wide in these shoes and feel that this product does not even come close to fitting a wide foot. The wide shoe even looked narrow when coming out of the box. I ordered a 1/2 size bigger and already need to order again because they hurt my daughter's feet. They are very easy to put on and attractive but very ill fitting. Zappos did a great job getting them to me right away!

I followed the advice of others and bought my daughter a half size bigger and the wide width, although her foot is not normally wide. They fit great. They are comfortable and cute.

My daughter has been using these for several years. The elastic under the ribbon tie helps to hold them on, and the tie has always been easier for her than a buckle. They tend to run a little narrow, so we have been buying the wide for her (though her street shoes are not wide).

This is the best tap shoe ever! My 4-yr old daughter is comfortable in them, she would wear them all the time if I let her. They don't hurt her toes and most importantly, they are not slippery. She has very skinny feet so I bought the narrow, and they fit her perfectly. They are not too narrow, they are just right. So don't be afraid to get narrow if needed. I can't say enough good things about it, I'll never buy any other brand from now on! Capezio is the best!

Great tap shoes! They are so cute and I bought them a little big like other reviewers suggested (about a half size up) so they would last the rest of this year. The elastic straps are tight enough to keep the shoes secure even though they have a little room for growth. Fast shipping! Took 2 days!
