My daughter and I both love these tap shoes! They have an elastic strap under the tie that make them secure and easy on\/off. And they have a small padded collar in the back to avoid blisters. I bought them a half size bigger based on advice from some other dance moms, and they are perfect. A much better quality shoe than they sell at the dance school.

I ordered a wide for my daughter and these are the perfect fit. So cute and perfect for her tap class. Love the tie on top and there is a strap underneath to help keep them on as well. Will definitely recommend!

Just a week before her performance, my daughter's tap shoes got tight on her feet. I didn't have the time to run around and shop for another pair. Before I knew it was Thursday, the day before her show, and I didn't have comfortable shoes for her. It took a few tries to find the right size. My daughter's feet had just grown a size in a month. They were also very narrow. We had to get wides, which she hasn't needed in any other shoe. Otherwise, they seem to fit well and she says they're comfortable.

True to size, but is a bit narrow. This tap shoe has the elastic under the tie which helps keep the bow tied and shoe on.

These are really nice tap shoes for the price. I like that they have the elastic sewn in so they don't come off if they come untied. Love, love, love Zappos shipping. Ordered these Tuesday afternoon and they came before dance class on Wednesday! It's quicker than going to the mall!

The shoes are fantastic. Underneath the ribbon there is permanent elastic that holds the two straps together, which I thing is helpful. Also, in the back of the shoe, the top back part is soft, so no blisters above my daughter's heel. The size was perfect: my daughter wears a 9 and I ordered a 9.5 to have a little room to grow. The shoes are also very cute. My daughter loved them so much she slept in them the first few nights. I really don't know if this shoe has or doesn't have arch support (sorry).

Ordered an 8 1/2 medium width for my daughter's medium width size 8 foot and they were about 2 sizes too small and super narrow. Not even sure if the wide would have fit her. Had to return them and bought a different brand.

Great little tap shoe. My daughter is taking her first tap class, and she was so proud to pull these out of her dance bag. The little girls oohed and ahhhed about the pink flowers. My daughter enjoys tapping on sorts of surfaces - wood, vinyl, tile, etc. - and they sound good on all of them.

I order these for my daughter, expecting shipping would take a week or so. They showed up the next day! First time I ordered a half size too small, had to re-order and shipping time was amazing. Ordered wide ever though my daughter does not necessarily have wide feet, but I wanted to make sure her little feet were comfy and I know dance shoes especially can be narrow. The wide with works perfectly. Very happy with this purchase!

My 2 year old daughter loves these tap shoes! She has very narrow feet and surprisingly they fit well. The only issue is the lace that ties above the elastic strap, does not stay tied. We had to sew a bow to the top of the elastic, which keeps her tapping safely. :)

Extremely happy with this tap shoe. It is well made with lots of cushion for my 3 year old's little feet. She would happily wear them all day if I let her. She is usually a 9 or 9.5 (depending on the shoe), but because of the other reviews, I ordered a few sizes and the 10 fit very well. They arrived in 4 business days (including the day I ordered them). Can't beat the free shipping both ways. I easily returned the ones we did not choose. Happy tapping!
