Zappos to the rescue! My little girl, 5, has a wide foot and finding a 1-Wide in a tap shoe is virtually impossible, but Zappos had it. Hassle free and free shipping, got to love free shipping. They fit, we are happy. Thanks Zappos.

These tap shoes are pretty much as advertised. Sizing was prety much right on, although maybe a little on the narrow side. These are a great deal compared to what they were asking for tap shoes at my daughter\'s dance school.\r\n\r\nThe real gem here, though, is Zappo\'s themselves. I can\'t rave enough about them. I ordered these shoes on a Wednesday in the late evening and somehow they were on my doorstep the very next afternoon! And no, I did not pay for any special expedited shipping. Zappo\'s upgraded me for free and this has happened twice recently with orders I have placed with them. Their customer service is just fantastic and coming from someone who has a difficult time finding shoes that fit (I am a mother of 2 with a size 5 foot), Zappo\'s is a lifesaver for me when it comes to finding shoes in my size. And, in this case, in finding affordable dance shoes for my daughter.

These shoes are perfect! My 3-year-old daughter has a new passion for ballet and tap so we were desparate to get her tap shoes that were required for her new class. I didn\'t have time to shop around so I turned to trusty Zappos. They had her size and arrived within days, as their shoes always do. So adorable. Nice soft leather. True to size. Our dance school allows the students to wear any color shoe for classes, but for the end of the year recital, the shoes must be painted to match the costume. Because these are soft leather (not patent), I suspect the paint job will stick a little better. Quality shoe from a quality company that knows dance.

Ordered them a half-size too big, hoping they'll last a long time. They're definitely too long, but sufficiently narrow that my daughter's wide foot seems perfectly comfortable in them anyway. She doesn't even tie the ribbons on. (Love that they stay on with or without the ribbons - they have a little elastic connector piece.) The pink color is very cute.

This shoe runs slightly large. Good tap shoe for the money. Bought these for an intro tap class for my four year old. Only complaint is that my daughter is having a hard time getting used to how stiff the sole is! :)

Zappos is awesome and I love the pace of your delivery and easy returns! The shoe is cute, but the sizing is way off. My 3 year old daughter is an 8 and she needed a 9 1/2. However, Zappos service is so fantastic it was such a fast exchange. I have started to buy all of my shoes and gifts on Zappos b/c of the great service!

My daughter loves this shoe, goes click clack all through the kitchen now. A little slippery, but that's expected. Shoe is perfect for her new dance class and easy to get on and off. Marked moderate arch support because I honestly don't know, figured middle was better than either extreme.

Basic beginning tap shoe -
While these shoes were a little pricier than the ones I had seen in the stores, I found this shoe to be better quality; PLUS I drove all over town to find the right size, to no avail. I can always count on Zappos to have exactly what I need, in the right size and color, and at a price that's fair. And I can't believe how quickly they were delivered and the shipping is free! We are very happy with this purchase.

Very cute tap shoes with a great tappity-tap sound. But they do run quite narrow, in my opinion. I had to go up a half size for my daughter to avoid painful, bleeding blisters. I do wish Zappos carried this shoe in a wide width.

It's a bit pricy, I thought in a beginning... but the guaranteed of next day shipping, you cannot beat this deal!!! Other site... it appears to be inexpensive, but if you are in hurry and make sure shipping gets here on time, you have to pay for shipping more than it costs for your shoes! So, this turned out to be the best deal I could ever find! And it was delivered in a great condition! It was all worth it!!!

You can not go wrong with these...they are MUCH better than any tap shoe you'll find at a Big Box retail store, or a discount shoe store. The metal "taps" are placed and fitted well to the bottom of the shoe too. The ties are laced in a way that allows them to stay tied better than other tap shoes...

Cute, but narrow -
My daughter loves her tap shoes. I feel that they are fairly narrow, though, so we actually order up about a 1/2 size for a comfortable fit. I know other reviewers felt they ran big, but if you are trying to fit a wide foot I would not recommend ordering a smaller size.

Great shoe, it has nice support. It seemed to run a bit big, maybe half a size, but most dress shoes do. My daughter loves them.
