These are a rare and fantastic find if you have a narrow foot, as I do. There was absolutely no break in period. Wore them brand new to a three day Zumba weekend and they were as comfortable as slippers. Great support and just enough stick to the floor. You must size up a whole size, just as everyone has said. For me, these shoes fit my Zumba dance needs perfectly.

I have a small foot but listened to the other reviews and ordered a 7(!). Perhaps the sizing anomaly gets worse in the larger sizes or they meant 2 half sizes. Anyway ended up reordering a 6 and 6.5 (normal size 5.5 - 6). I'm still not sure which is better. The 6.5 is long, but the 6 is a little narrow. The debate is still on. The lacing system is GREAT. I have a very high instep and 1 tug on the laces tightens the toe perfectly, snugs the shoe up into my arch but doesn't press on my instep. I wish running shoe companies would adopt that system. Wearing them helped with my plantar fascia.

These shoes do look chunky and ugly when I put them on. I was about to return them for "prettier" skinner looking shoes until I saw that are the only Capezio ones labeled as having "superior" arch support -- which I need for Zumba class. Plus I like that these have the support on the back of the foot -- unlike the canvas dance sneaker. So I guess I will keep them and suffer from looking fashionable but hopefully save my arches from aching. I did order once size up and they fit great considering I have wide feet.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my daughter who is a ballroom dance instructor. She loves them and keeps thanking me for them, so I guess that qualifies as a highly recommend! Her ballroom shoes are a 6.5, I bought her a 7 in these because of the warnings that they ran small, and the 7 fits her perfectly.

Super comfortable! I do Zumba at home, and my cross-trainers snagged the carpet and their traction made it hard to move. The Capezios are so easy to move in, and they slide across the carpet. The reviews I read said they run small, so I ordered a size larger as I do for my running shoes. However, that was too small, so I ended up ordering a full size more.

I have owned these shoes for 2 years now and wear them 2 or 3 times a week for Zumba. They have held up well and still look great. They are perfect for Zumba and great for moves involving being up on your toes! The sizing is really different though. I normally wear a size 8 1/2 and had to get a 10 in these. They aren't the cutest shoe but I love them!

Great shoe! I watched about the sizing and ordered a size larger as recommended. Had to reorder. I have a narrower foot and would suggest 1/2 size larger than usual size for narrower feet.

Great for dancing! I went up one size and they were still too small. I had to size up another full size (I regularly wear a 7.5 shoe. Ended up with a 9.5 shoe).

These are very comfortable. They are great for Zumba classes. They are maneuverable. The soles are very flexible. I had to reorder in a size and half larger as they run small.

These are the perfect Zumba shoes! What a difference the right shoes make. I need a wide width so I had to order up a size. The Capezios are much more generous in width than the Blochs, which I really liked but had to return.

I love these shoes! I bought a pair of Rykas, but had to return them because they were so tight. These have lots of room in the toe. They are light and breathable and turns are very easy in these, which is good for my knees. Other reviews said to buy them a half to a full size bigger. I opted for a full size, given my Ryka experience, and they fit fine.

These are unbelievably small! I ordered a whole size larger and my toe was still touching the end of the shoe. I usually wear a 7.5 and I ordered an 8.5. I didn't like them well enough to order another pair to try on. They were comfortable, though.
Brands I'd also recommend: Bloch, Ryka

I love these shoes. I use them for Zumba and they are so good. Great flexibility, glides on the floor really well and not heavy. I would recommend to use different insole though. The one that comes with this shoe wears off pretty quickly especially if you're using this shoe for Zumba or similar high intensity workout. My knee started hurting again (I develop knee pain few months ago) and once I switch insoles, the pain reduced. Greta buy. Go get it! On size, I followed recommendations from other reviewers and picked up 1/2 a size larger. I usually wear a 5.5 but i picked up a 6 for this and it was a perfect fit.
Brands I'd also recommend: Nike, Bloch, Rkya

This is my favorite dance shoe. They flex so you can actually tell when you're pointing your feet and the make spinning/pivoting much easy - so much so that, until you rough up the bottoms a bit, you'll find yourself doing the splits unintentionally!

I love them! They made it easier on my feet for Zumba and I love the flexibility they give me to stretch my feet. I'd say if you take Zumba or another similar class you want this shoe. (Oh and Zappos upgraded my shipping so I got them fast!)
