I have bought two of Capezio’s Fierce Dancesneakers this year. I have been a dancer for over 20 years and love Capezio shoes. However, this time I bought one for dance and one for work. I need shoes that I can wear for 9 hours straight and that won’t slip. These shoes are very comfortable and they grip the floor well. I actually wore them while climbing up the Eiffel Tower, all 1665 steps, while it was raining, and my feet didn’t hurt or slip.

I got these for my dance class because the sneakers I usually wear are too grippy and do not have enough support. These shoes are very lightweight and easy to move in. The split toe takes some getting used to. I felt like I was wearing lifts, the soles are so thick. If you don't need the added support or bulk, there are non sneaker type dance shoes that may be preferable. Also the rubber on the soles are very slick making it easy to spin and twist on wooden and concrete dance floors, but you should take care on carpet until you are used to them.

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to width
I purchased the Capezio Fierce Dancesneaker for Zumba. They are the best. I would recommend any one who is taking Zumba to purchase these shoes. They make the moves much easier to perform and relieves stress to the knees. Well worth the money. Thanks.

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThis is my second pair of these shoes. They are good for jazz, zumba, and ballroom practice. They are comfortable. I usually wear a size 7 1/2, but got these in 8 1/2. I remove the insole and put in my own orthotic.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthThese shoes are lightweight, but provide good support. The shape is nice, not too wide or bulky looking. Good flexibility in the arch. Comfortable and great for Zumba!

In 1887, at the age of 17, he opened his shop on Broadway and 39th Street, diagonally across from the old Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. Soon, the shop became a meeting place for dancers who would stop by to discuss their needs and to get a pair of his shoes. As Capezio’s popularity grew, dancers from around the world made it a point to visit him and purchase his shoes.

This was my first experience using Zappos. The customer contact person was helpful and really pleasant. The product came when promised, received in good condition, and it is a comfortable good quality shoe. It has really elevated my enjoyment in dancing. I have already recommended Zappos to my friends and plan to use them again in the future. Thank you!

I really love these shoes! Dancing is much easier in my jazz ballet/hip hop class! In previous reviews, many said to order a larger size (some said even up to 2 sizes larger!) so I ordered a women\'s 10 (I\'m usally a 8.5 or 9) and I find them a little big. I should have ordered a 9.5 (or even a 9).

I bought these shoes for my Zumba class. They are great for pivots and don't stick to the floor. Very knee friendly. I love them!

I had trouble getting the right size and fit in a dance sneaker. Zappos was very convenient and customer service oriented, by providing free shipping and free returns. I finally got a pair I really like. I needed a 1/2 size larger than my normal athletic shoe. This shoe works great in a Zumba class I am taking. Very comfortable and flexible, also smart looking.

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt narrower than markedWay small; don't be fooled into thinking these will be your size. To get anything approaching a true fit, you want a full size larger than you normally wear. I also didn't find that they were particularly supportive. They were, however, very light, which is nice.

This sneaker does feel comfortable when I'm taking my Zumba classes but it is ugly. It bulges from the sides which makes your feet not sleek and gorgeous but rather clumsy looking. If you wear long pants that covers the ankles you can get away with it. Since these were my first pair I can't compare it to any other but it felt just fine with the turns I was making, I do feel like I would've liked it to be a bit smoother. I had to purchase a 1/2 larger than my regular sneaker size b/c it is too snug.

I have a small foot but listened to the other reviews and ordered a 7(!). Perhaps the sizing anomaly gets worse in the larger sizes or they meant 2 half sizes. Anyway ended up reordering a 6 and 6.5 (normal size 5.5 - 6). I'm still not sure which is better. The 6.5 is long, but the 6 is a little narrow. The debate is still on. The lacing system is GREAT. I have a very high instep and 1 tug on the laces tightens the toe perfectly, snugs the shoe up into my arch but doesn't press on my instep. I wish running shoe companies would adopt that system. Wearing them helped with my plantar fascia.

Great shoe overall, but could use a little more cushion in the ball.

Good for dance class - Shoe has no cushioning, but bends well. Better than gym shoes for dance classes as it doesn't stick. However, at some points it is actually too slippery.

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthLike this shoe - I tried these out in Zumba class and liked them. I'm new to Zumba, but these were comfortable the first time. Based on reviews, I ordered them a size larger than street size, but still had to go larger, so I went to two sizes larger (13!!). I'm glad Zappos carries shoes that big and as always their customer service is beyond compare.

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthBeginner Dance Class Shoes - My husband and I signed up for a ballroom/salsa dance classes. I immediately looked up shoes for class on Zappos. I ordered them and received them in three days. My friend hesitated on getting shoes and her feet were killing her after the first hour of our first class (as well as others in the class). My feet have been fine and I love my shoes. My instructor suggested no one buy shoes until they are sure they want to do more dancing, but I think learning in comfortable shoes would make you want to continue dancing. Thanks for the good service, and I did buy them a size bigger than usual as suggested by other reviewers.

Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthPurchased for Zumba class - These shoes are not as cute as I thought they would be. They are bit clunky, but better than the running shoes I was using in my Zumba class. They definitely have a slicker sole so you can move across the floor. These are dance shoes so they don't have great arch support (I have orthodics so it doesn't really matter). In hindsight, though, I wish I had bought a cuter pair. These are just so ugly.
