The first CamelBak hydration packs proved to be very popular amongst mountain bikers and motocross riders by allowing them to drink without taking their hands off of the handlebars in technical terrain. Shortly thereafter, the hydration packs began to cross over into other sports venues. Scientific studies have shown that athletes performed better when they wore a CamelBak hydration system because they were taking in more fluids and keeping hydrated. Today, CamelBak features more Hands-Free Hydration® systems for hiking, running, snowboarding and skiing.
While keeping you hydrated is one thing, keeping you comfortable is another. At CamelBak they understand just how important it is to have a lightweight, breathable pack for your all-day backcountry adventures. The D.V.I.S.® and N.V.I.S.® back panels were developed to provide a better fit, multi-directional ventilation, and a stable center of gravity with easy access to water. Combine those features with Camelbak´s leak proof, taste-free, anti-microbial Omega® Hydrotanium® Reservoir and you´ve got a powerful piece of load-bearing, hydration equipment on your side.
CamelBak´s state-of-the-art packs and hydration systems have benefited people from all walks of life including: athletes, outdoorsmen, and soldiers around the world. Although they have grown significantly since their earlier days, CamelBak stands strong in their belief that proper hydration delivers the advantage of top performance among the rest.

A great water bottle to go running. First the water bottle itself. Holds a perfect amount of water to go running with. I run between 6 and 13 miles and was perfect. The nozzel is a great invention on this one. With the valve selected open you cant shake out the water when running, but when your ready for some water tip it up and squeeze and instent water. No opening or closing with your other hand or teeth. Plus the bottle is insulated so no warm water at the end of the run. Second the Jacket for the bottle. Your hand slides in a pouch and a strap to tighten it up. No grip required to hold this bottle making it very effortles. The stap had loosened very little after 4 miles but did not effect the security of the bottle. The pouch hold my ID's perfectly and a key with no issues. Highly recommend this bottle if your looking at a sports bottle to run with.

The only good thing I can say is that it delivers a lot of water fast. Unfortunately it has a few design flaws. 1) It's too big. 21 oz is a lot to carry if you're going on long runs. It makes my arm tired. 2) the strap doesn't stay cinched very well. 3) If your hands get sweaty like mine do when you're running, it's very hard to hold onto the bottle, even with the strap. They should have used neoprene for the strap and wrapped the bottle in the same fabric to provide grip. The pocket is a nice touch but do you really want to add more weight to an already heavy bottle by putting your keys and whatnot in it? I know 21 oz doesn't sound like much but I run for 45-60 minutes and it gets heavy after a while.
