I purchased this item to use while training for the half marathon, it is a great product. I run about 9/10 minutes per mile and have used this running 11+ miles with out any problem. I wear it high up off of my hips and turn the pack to my back with easy access to the drinking tube. Of course it is slightly heavy when filled with 50oz but with drinking it will diminish allowing for a fast finish. I will be using it during my half marathon as well. It also fits my cell phone and gel packs. I am a petite woman and it works fine for me, not weighing me down too much. It does cause some sweating where it is located but much better for me than a back pack style. It is also great on hikes and biking! Love it! Love the color!

I love this bag! I have Gastroparesis (a paralyzed stomach) and have a feeding tube in my small intestine. I'm hooked up to my pump 24/7. I needed a bag to carry my pump and feeding bags, but that also had open ports for my tube to run through. This bag is perfect. I pulled out the reservoir and use that pocket for my 500 ml feeding set. My pump (Enteralite Infinity) fits inside the main compartment, and in the outside zip pocket I carry my metrocard, ID, change, gum and keys. There's still space in the main pocket for my phone, meds, gauze, and gloves. The bag is comfortable, durable, can be worn facing the front, or turned around and worn as a lumbar pack, and is easily washed clean of stains. I know I don't use it for it's intended purpose, but if it functions so well for special needs, I imagine it would excel at that for which it was designed!

I want to love this bag. The storage room is ample. I have used an older model CamelBak for years. I loved it, but I wanted something smaller for running. The FlashFlo fits me oddly when full. My husband says it looks like I have a shelf sitting on my butt. Though, once the water is down by half it fits much better. Due to the 'bat wing' design on the pouch it does tend to kink on me and not give out any water when the level gets low. This makes me pretty frustrated when this happens while running. Lastly, my biggest disappointment with the pouch, it requires cleaning every day! The materials my old pouch are made out of keep it 'gross' immune. :) I could leave it filled with water for weeks, and it would be clean and drinkable. The new materials in the updated pouch are not mildew resistant. If I leave water in it for 24 hours it smells rancid like mildew and is undrinkable. It's such a pain to have to clean it out after each run.

I am new at using this. It is comfortable for me resting at my hip bone. I am using this for running. I don't fill it up the whole way, don't need to so why carry the extra weight, right? No instructions on how to clean, frustrating. Friend told me you can buy a brush to clean/dry out the tubing. I use warm soapy water to wash and clean tube, using gravity to drain tube while squeezing the mouth piece then rinse with warm water same technique. Prop open with a wooden spoon.

After spending years hiking with backpacks and small messenger bags, I found this. It's really cute, with plenty of room for the items I typically take with me without being cumbersome like my previous bags. The design of the bat-wing bladder isn't perfect, so sucking the last drops out of it can be a bit difficult, but it's still much better than lugging water bottles along! I'm 5'5, and the length of the drinking tube is just fine for me. My only complaint: it's obviously designed for the sleek and slim. The waist belt does not expand very far (probably to keep the straps from flapping around on the skinny people!). I didn't measure it, but I'd guess it wouldn't comfortably fit anyone beyond a 36 inch waist and it certainly wouldn't fit around the hips of most women I know!
