I purchased this bathing suit with the full intention of returning it. It was more expensive than any other bathing suit I've ever bought, because I've never wanted to spend a lot on something I hate, and I hate bathing suits. I was wrong! This is a great suit! I got it in black and I like it more than any other bathing suit I've owned in the past ten years! It has a skirt, but doesn't look at all Grandma-y (I'm 28). If you're looking for a skirted suit, but are afraid it will age you, this one won't! And the shipping was insanely fast. I ordered it at 8:15PM on a Tuesday and got it Wednesday night. Amazing. This is the one and only bathing suit I will be bringing on vacation, because it's the only one I've ever felt remotely comfortable in. This is really a great suit! It's very cute!

I never thought this would look good on me (I'm 40 and still carrying post-pregnancy weight around the middle) but it is spectacular: sexy but also covers the rear! I'm 5'7", 34B, 27" waist and tried the 6 and the 8. Both technically fit, but the look was completely different. The 6 hung sleek and smooth (too smooth for my middle!) but fit fine otherwise. The 8 seemed slightly longer, and also flowed gently over my torso without looking billowy. I'm keeping the 8. I recommend trying multiple sizes, as they'll look quite different! I got the petrol, and like it a lot; it's an olive-brown-gray sort of color. A good neutral alternative to black.

Great suit! Very comfortable. It does not ride up in the back at all! I got a 6 and was guessing at the size, but it fit like it was made for me. I only wish it had a little more support in the bust area. I am 62 years old now and things are starting to sag some, but it looks fine really. I wish another color or perhaps a print was available, but the style and color are very classic and will remain so for a long time. I have a complimenting sarong (I think that is what you call it) which can be added to create a different look, and change things up.
Brands I'd also recommend: Crocks and Dansko
