This dress is gorgeous in style and color. The material is light and comfortable to wear. I love the way it looks. I might need to have it hemmed a bit because I'm on the short side. I'm 5'2 1/2" 118 lbs and the 2 fit perfectly.

Love it. I'm going to a black tie wedding in NYC and after trying on 25 dresses, someone suggested checking Zappos. So glad I did! I'm 5'1" 148 lbs and I carry most of that weight in my lower half - a true pear shape. Size 10 fits over my full booty and thunderous thighs, and doesn't gap in the chest (a little in the back). I didn't want to spend this much but I am glad I did, I will be comfortable and it's hard to put a price on that!

This dress is made of a quality material and is a pretty deep purple. I thought that the pleated fabric around the torso would be flattering. Unfortunately, the way that the pleats curve around the hips makes the hips look large, even thought my hips are normal size. The dress also has a long tail that drapes the floor (as seen in the photo) with no way to cinch and pull it off the floor (like other floor length gowns sometimes have), which makes it impractical to wear to functions. While the dress is a pretty style, I will be returning it.
