I was trying to find a black suede dress boot to replace last year's black dress boot purchase (Since they were a platform, over the knee style, I just do not feel comfortable wearing them in professional situations). These boots are comfortable and very stylish. I love the kitten heel! My calves are 15.5 inches around, and the size 10 s was slightly loose, but I will have no problem wearing them over pants. My favorite part is that the shaft comes right up to the bottom of my knee. I have a 33 inch inseam with no shoes. The zipper on the outside is also fabulous. I can't wait to wear these with my favorite wrap dresses, leather pencil skirt, and skinny jeans in all situations.

I really wanted to like these boots. They of the style and leather was great - looked much more high end than the price! Sadly, it hit at a strange place mid-knee so I'm returning.

Finally a comfortable boot! I have been searching for a brown boot I can wear to work with skirts and wear on the weekends with jeans and this one is perfect! I'm 5'10 so don't always like wearing 3-4 inch heels so this was a good find for me. I've worn them numerous times already and I can stand/walk in them for hours with absolutely no pain.

These boots are gorgeous! Exceptionally well made and the leather is really high quality. I normally buy designer boots but wanted something chic with a lower heel so I thought I'd try these since the price was so great and I am so glad I did. They are really comfortable and great for traveling. They are my fave boots.

I loved the look of these boots! The leather is very smooth and the zipper on the side made these boots unique. However, I had to return them because they hit in an awkward spot at my knee. They looked and felt okay with stockings, but when I tucked pants in, they was very uncomfortable as soon as I bent my knee. Also, when I sat down, the back of the boot was digging into my leg. For your reference, I'm 5'5". I wish my legs were longer so I could keep these!

These are very pretty boots. The brown looks like it would cost a lot more than it does. The zipper detail is beautiful and I found it to be very comfortable (the heel height makes for nice arch support). My only quibble is that I do not have really long legs - I am 5'6" - and the front of the boot comes to the bottom of my knees, which I did not find very flattering on my legs. I know it is the current fashion, but... The boots are so nice that I might have the top/front shortened by a cobbler.
Brands I'd also recommend: Cole Haan, Ecco, Paul Greene

Unfortunately, after one day of wear on city sidewalks the heels of both boots were completely worn out. The nails were showing through! Had these been advertised as slippers I would be very happy with them as they are comfortable and very nice looking and would be fine if I only wore them on carpeted surfaces. However, I expect to able to wear my shoes outdoors. Zappos agreed to take them back. My search for black boots continues!

Very cute boot, with the heavy zipper on the outside of the shaft. Comfortable kitten heel height and tall shaft coming to just barely under my knee (I'm 5' 5").

I love these boots! They are sleek and beautiful. I love how the front part comes up a little higher but without that pirate thing going on, and the zipper on the outside is very cool. I have the brown suede, and would buy the black suede too if I didn't already have some great black suede boots. So tempting! The mid-height heel is very comfortable. I'm between 7.5-8 and got the 8, and could have gone with a 7.5. I will need to wear thin socks with these, so if you prefer just wearing tights with your boots, order the lower size you'd normally wear.
