I absolutely love this dutch oven. It isn't so heavy and the food just slides off the surface with washing. I have made swiss steak and beef stew in it and it turned out great. Fried and prepared on the stove top and then put in the oven. I don't have any experience with other types of dutch ovens, but I know this is not as heavy as the other types. I had a hard time just lifting the others off the shelf in the store let alone having it filled with food and getting it in and out of the oven. I'm very satisfied and it arrived very quickly. This was our first time of ordring from Zappos and we will do it again.

I have one of these and everytime my best friend comes over he comments on how much he covets this pot. So, when I discovered that Zappos had it in stock and at a good price, my friend got a gift. If you love to cook, especially for a group of people, then this should be in you collection. As with most Calphalon, this cooks amazingly well, whether you are cooking pasta, soups, or even a roast. The heat distributes very evenly, no scorching on the bottom, and clean up is a breeze.
Great service and very quick delivery. Product is as advertised and we really like it. Would order from Zappos again.

This is a beautiful Dutch Oven. I got it for a Christmas present and he was going to return it for a smaller one but just decided to buy a smaller one and keep the larger one.

I bought this dutch oven for my sister. She was delighted at how big it is! It's a beautiful pan and very large. She will get lots of use out of it on her spaghetti or chili dishes. Thanks Zappos for always selling quality merchandise at affordable costs. It was delivered faster than I thought it would! Great purchase!
