Built NY, Inc. Reviews
I bought this for my bf to take his lunch to work in. It is a pretty decent size, and is able to hold a good amount of food.

I bought this lunch box because I liked the fact it has a long shoulder strap. I can carry it with me easily around. It is big and fits a lot of items. I really recommend it.

This product works very well, holds together well, and really fits in your hands, it's made texting so much easier.

I use this lunch tote as a sponge bag/toiletry bag. The wide mouth allow for easy access to my toiletries and the neoprene fabric makes it easy to clean. Great product.

This case is perfect for holding all the accessories that you need with a laptop. I can fit my laptop power cord, an internet cable, mouse, VPN token, and even have room for my Blackberry and headphones! I love having everything I need in one case. And it all stays so neat in their own pockets!
Great bag overall. Easy to carry. Not too big not too small. Stretchable and built quality is great. Highly recommended.

I love this bag! The color and pattern is fun, but it's also very functional. With my 13"macbook pro inside and a few papers, wallet and pens it feels secure, comfortable and not too heavy. I think this is because the neoprene material has a little "give" that makes the bag feel lighter on your shoulder. My only complaint is that the inner sleeve is so snug that when I close the zipper I go slowly, worrying that I might scratch my laptop. That's not a reason not to get this though - my favorite laptop bag ever.

This bag is the third Built product I've bought and once again, I'm extremely happy with it. Holds my laptop, cords, iPhone, even a second laptop if necessary (although I wouldn't recommend doing that all the time). The only downside is I wish they had more pattern choices, but that's a pretty small concern.
Not what I had anticipated from Built. Case is nice enough, but two of my Built cases (one that fits an iPad with a back shield and one for a 17" laptop) had a soft interior -- this one had a different type of interior, more on the rough side. Then the dimensions, to me, were off as far as size. I actually thought this would fit my iPad now that I have a smart cover, but it's longer than I thought. Anyway, have to return and see if I can find something that meets my needs.

I bought this case for extra protection for my Kindle Fire HD 7". I am currently using the Amazon Leather Case but wanted additional protection. My kindle with case fits snug inside the neoprene case just fine. The only thing I don't like is the Velcro closure. It works fine though.

As an adult student, I was in search of a sturdy bag that could accomodate a laptop, books, withstand the subway commute, and still be work appropriate. The Essential Work Tote was my eventual choice for this purpose and it has held up well over the last 4 months. The canvas is true to the zappos color and adds a bit of flair to an otherwise plain bag. My only complaints with the product are that it has an open top, leaving your laptop and books exposed to the weather, and that the shoulder strap is heavy and unpadded. I use my bag without the shoulder strap as the handle loops can fit my arm and shoulder.

Contrary to the previous reviewer, I love this cover. Although I have a different color, it is a fantastic feel (wetsuit material) and great for traveling, slips in and out of a backpack/bag like a dream. It is not designed to fit with the apple smart cover, as the Built website states this (maybe Zappos you could mention this). But I do have an Amzer TPU case on my iPad and it slips into the Built case like a glove with no problems and never a scratch. I've even dropped it and it bounces. It also will not fit the charger properly but it stretches and gives enough to squeeze it in there anyway. It is such a beautiful cover like all BuiltNY products.

I purchased this BuiltNY sleeve on clearance from another retailer. The Scatter Dot pattern fits my new Kindle Fire 7" perfectly snug. There's a bit of wiggle room on all four sides, but I have no fear of the tablet falling out. The sleeve lining is super soft and brightly colored, like pjs for electronics! Love that Built NY products can easily be washed and air dried. For those who have a bumper or case around their tablet: this sleeve is not generously sized, so you may have to remove any accessories for the tablet to fit.

This is a terrific case. Buy this case if you are prone to dropping your phone. I dropped my phone from over 6 ft. on to brick. It landed directly on the corner of the phone. I expected it to be shattered but the reinforced construction on the corners saved the day! Silicone is very "grippy" and the phone doesn't slide around in the car on the console.

I am so happy with my Built sleeve/bag for my iPad & Ultrathin keyboard (and I did a lot of research prior to purchase)! It is sleek and durable; also, super soft on the inside. It holds quite a bit in the front pocket (Wi-Drive, cables for iPad & Drive, note cards, headphones, mp3 player), and I can slip the bag in my personal bag to bring anywhere! It has a little spot to slip a pen in (perhaps a stylus pen too?) with a perfect grip. I chose the black one, although it truly was a difficult choice, because all of the colors look great! I find the Built sleeve is affordable and pleasantly felicitous.

Like the bag a lot, although the way the shoulder strap attaches and adjusts for length is a little clumsy. It gets all twisted up and requires some fumbling around sometimes.. I think if it had a swivel clip and a little pad to hold the doubled-up part together, it would be easier to use.
This is a great lunch box - we have been using the built bags for years - but finally found one with a strap - VERY IMPT> our 9 year old daughter prefers that to stuffing it in her backpack - also beautiful blue color inside!!
This lunch bag is awesome and a great find. It is light (neoprene) and cute. The best part of all is that because of the shape and structure, it manages to fit a lot of stuff in it. The larger size bottom makes it great for food containers that will stay upright and not turn sideways and spill. In the past with traditionally shaped lunchbags, I've had to find food containers that fit the bag.
After having purchased traditional hard sided lunchboxes for my middle schooler, I went back to the old standby that the rest of my family uses - the Built NY lunchbox. With its pleated bottom, it compresses nicely in the smallest backpack spaces. Its thick material is great for catching spills and protecting the rest of your valuables. Easily tossed in the washer, the bright colors remain vibrant and never fade. The heavy duty zipper works great without catching and the handles are a must have. It is amazing how much you can stuff into this bag from full size compartment type food containers to a couple pieces of fruit, a sandwich box, a drink and a yogurt, spoon and cloth napkin. Highly recommend this for all of your meal needs. We have some that are several years old and you cannot tell the difference between them.

I debated between this lunch tote and the full-size version, the Gourmet Getaway, for some time and finally settled on this one. I have to say, I'm very glad that I did! This is the perfect size for me. I don't keep a drink in it, just a tupperware container of food and maybe a yogurt cup and some fruit. Love the material, too. I didn't even know that I wanted a stretchy lunchbox until I started using this one.
We LOVE these lunch bags! They last for a few years and probably longer, but with the new designs, my daughter wanted a change. They're machine washable and are stuff-able and help keep lunches cool.
