I purchased the Addiction 8 size 9.5B based on internet research which indicated it to be narrower and significantly less volume, especially in the toebox area (where the toes are), than the previous version Addiction 7. For the past year I've worn the Addiction 7 size 9.5D. It always felt much too roomy. When I received the Addiction 8 size 9.5B, I found it to be so tight, I could barely get my feet into it. What a huge size/design change! Manufacturers should be more consistent fit-wise year to year for the same line of shoe. So through the friendly Zappos service rep., I requested a replacement Addiction 8 size 9.5D. It was sent to me incredibly fast, within 3 days. No hassles with Zappos (I'm likely not the first to say this). The new Addiction 8 size 9.5D fit so much better, having properly (for me at least) much less volume in the box area than the Addiction 7 size 9.5D. I do wonder, however, if perhaps I should have gone with a size 10. My toes hit the front end at times when I change directions abruptly, such as when I play with my dog. When I run my typical 20 miles per week, however, I feel fine. I would have no reservations buying another pair of Addiction 8, but would likely choose between a size 10D or 10B.

These shoes are very nice and comfortable. It took me awhile to get use to the shoes but it was well worth the wait. I run at least 3 miles and my muscles and joints are not as tired as they usually are with normal running shoes. I strongly recommend these shoes to anyone that wants to start running. To give you an idea I'm 250 pounds and 6 feet tall. I enjoy the shoes and I plan to buy more when these give out.

These shoes are amazing, and I have found them to be better in terms of sturdiness than New Balance. I wear a 10.5, so I am grateful they come in that size. They're perfect. I'm flat-footed and with my orthotics, they're great! Love this shoe!

This is a great shoe. It is very sturdy and long lasting. I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe helps me keep the pain at bay. I typically also use inserts which this shoe accommodates nicely.

I'm a woman with bunions and have had difficulty finding woman's shoes that were wide enough to be comfortable. I've been wearing this shoe for about a month and it has helped reduce my foot pain. It is true to size and width. It is very comfortable and provides good traction and stability. This is an excellent shoe.

I wear a size 12 narrow shoe and have orthotics on top of that. This is my first pair of Brooks shoes and I really like them. They fit well and are comfortable. Now I have choices and I always like that.

These are very comfortable! I\'ve been told to be sure to purchase exercise footwear 1/2 size larger than your shoe size. That works for me.

These shoes have the stiffness features recommended by my podiatrist. They are also comfortably wide enough for my foot. They don't crowd my foot and are easy to clean. I own both the lace up and velcro models. I prefer the lace up, but I like the velcro better than I ever thought I could like a velcro shoe. They meet the dress code for my work as a nurse being essentially all white.

I don't love them. I bought these because I was going through my Mizunos too fast. I am just over 100 lbs and should be getting more than 250 miles out of running shoes. The Brooks Glycerin were supposed to be a lightweight cushioned shoe. I found these to be too bulky, but assumed that was because they were more cushioned than what I was used to. However, I get hot spots on the balls of my feet even on a run as short as 6 miles. Won't buy these again.

Let me begin by saying I tried on 4 different brands and 5 different shoes before deciding on the Brooks Ravenna. I have run in Nike for as long as I can remember, but a running buddy of mine (who's way more of a runner than I am, see: he runs like 10 miles for a fun run, and I typically run 4 miles) suggested I try Brooks. It's a brilliant neutral shoe that fit like a glove from the moment I tried it on and took it for a test run on the treadmill in the store where I purchased them. What I love best about the Ravennas are they are lightweight yet provide the support I need (I don't exactly glide like a gazelle) and the fit is exceptional. My old Nikes treated me quite well, but they busted out on me and my knees started to ache and shin splints made it impossible to go longer than a mile. These were the perfect cure as I busted out 4.2 miles in the best time I've run in months. I think Brooks and I are going to have a great running relationship together. I'm happy with the quality I got for the money.

My husband has a big foot (Size 14!), and it is often hard for him to find a comfortable, hip shoe. He loves the Brooks Addiction 8 for comfort, style and durability. Zappos always has his size, and the customer service is unbelievable. The staff seem to really love their work, and it shows! Thanks, Zappos. You have the best selection, and customer service.

This shoe is ultra supportive. I\'ve been recovering from several broken bones and torn ligaments in my foot and this shoe has provided the much needed support as my activity level returns to normal - super active. My trainer is amazed at how much arch support there is in this shoe.

Great running shoe. Has excellent cushion in heel. Not good in wet weather or after rain as if you run on non-paved roads or on the shoulder the shoe collects mud and or wet dirt in the gap of the heel sole, which creates additional weight and the material does not tread out while running.

These shoes are awesome! I put them on right out of the box and ran without any problems. They fit perfectly and there is plenty of room in the toe box. I have tried other brands/styles of stability shoes and always go back to the brooks trance.

If you liked the Brooks Trance 8, you will like the Trance 9. They fit the same, but the Trance 9 came in only 1 color. It would have been nice to have a choice. I am happy with this color; it's very neutral. This shoe doesn't come in a wide, but the toe box is roomy.

Nice shoe, but wasn't right for me. The mild stability, decent cushioning, light weight, and comfort of these shoes make for a nice package. Felt real good running in them when landing heel first, but when landing on the ball of my foot I found that the cushioning tapers down towards the toe, which felt a little teeter-tottery to me. I wanted to keep these, but that one factor for me meant a return. Thanks to Zappos for the great service! Everyone runs differently so I would definitely give these shoes a try if you're looking for a lightweight running shoe with mild added stability control and good comfort.

Light, Cushy & Neutral - This shoe is very cushy. At first I thought it was too much so, but I started to like it. I recently changed my running technique from landing on my heel first to landing on the ball of my foot and I had a stress fracture on the ball of my foot years ago, so I feel like the cushioning will help prevent a recurrence. Trying to run landing heel-first in these didn't feel good, so I wouldn't recommend it if you heel-strike when you run. Otherwise it's a great shoe if you want something light and cushioned.

This is a very lightweight and very basic running jacket that does a good job at its intended purpose. I tend to get hot quickly, but needed a high visibility jacket for protection from wind and water during my fall and winter evening runs. This jacket mostly does the trick. It's great wind protection, but doesn't breathe as well when the outside of the jacket is wet, so I find that moisture is trapped in the jacket when I run in light rain. I don't expect it would keep me dry at all in steady rain, but it did an excellent job recently shedding heavy snow. There is only one small pocket on the tail that is big enough for an ID and key. I'm 5'9" and 168 lbs and the large fits well. I normally wear a medium, but this jacket was too tight across my shoulders at that size. Finally, the jacket is so bright that it practically glows. I have not seen a brighter jacket. Even so, I almost get hit in a crosswalk nearly every evening.

I\'m very happy with these shoes. They are the first Brooks I have worn. In the past Brooks felt too narrow for my very wide feet and narrow heel. I just ran a half marathon in them and did not receive a black second toe on either foot, which is the first time! They don\'t seem to have as much cushion, but neither do any of the latest brands as they all appear to be following the ChiRunning model which is great with me!

These tennis shoes are wonderful. I buy two pairs at a time, one for working out and one for every day wear. The ventilated fabric keeps the feet cool and the support is great. I order up a half size in wide width, to allow room for socks. I've been wearing this shoe for several years and hope it is never discontinued. I've tried other styles, but these are the most comfortable.
