I'm not much of a runner. That being said these shoes make my forced exercise much more pleasant. They have just the right amount of cushioning for my 215 lbs. without feeling like I'm running on marshmallows. Enough support so that my ankles don't complain and enough softness for my knees. I can't comment on durability, since I've only had them a few weeks, but so far so good.

Got this shoe to rotate with my Adrenaline 11's. Really like the cushioned but structured feel. I have flat feet and pronate moderately. Will probably get another pair in the near future!

First purchase of Brooks shoes. Must say I am disappointed. While providing excellent arch support, quality for price is lacking. Have had shoes approximately 2 weeks and tongue in right shoe will not remain mid-line. Even after re-lacing shoe, tongue moves markedly toward the outside of the shoe. No problems with left shoe. I was expecting much better quality for price.

Tried two different support shoes before the Trance. I'm a light guy and pronate a lot. 20 miles a week and I love 'em. Great support and the right amount of cushion.

These shoes are amazing. Total comfort while running. I marked that they felt a half size smaller than marked because I normally wear a size 13 shoes, but ordered these as a 14 because runners are supposed to go a size up when buying running shoes. These fit my feet perfectly.
I'd also recommend: Saucony, New Balance
