Extremely comfortable shoe. I have wide feet and the medium width is plenty wide. Look great, and feel like your feet have nothing on them. I am looking forward to taking them off-road. Kudos to Zappos for making the purchase and exchange of shoes simple.

I bought these shoes for disc golf because the price of the Brooks Cascadia had increased. The comfort and function of the shoe is outstanding. The lacing system makes sure you have a snug and secure fit without choking off blood circulation. My only complaint is that the outsole (black layer with cleats) is separating from the rest of the shoe. This does not happen with the Cascadia. Fix the sole problem and this is the best shoe I've tried, so far. I will buy another pair, but I'll coat the sides and bottom with Shoe Goo to add some protection and resistance.

The Trailblade continues the Brooks tradition of well made, high end running shoes. Stability is superb, traction has sufficient grip-n-stick, and the unusual lacing makes for a good fit. While materials, design, and execution are not in question, the garish Mae West orange mid sole and over the top black and reflective silver accents combined to be too much for me. Is there something about trail running that demands high optic shoe colors? Well, Park Ranger Ned, his clothes were earth tones but his shoes were highly reflective and the soles were bright orange. You will not miss him if he fell in a hole head first.

What a great shoe! its got the support that I need without feeling like a tank. Breathes great, grips the trail tenaciously, and snugs my foot like a custom job. Fits smaller, so I'd go up a half size or so, I'm a 11.5-12 and the 12.5 is a glove on my wide feet.

My first time trying on a pair of Brooks. They felt generally very good, although a tad bit larger in the heel than I expected. Great support for my under-pronation, and lots of cushion like I wanted. However, there was a weird feel when I walked in them - probably due to the design of the middle section of the sole. I couldn't feel the middle of my foot at all, which kind of bugged me out. Overall I think it's a great shoe, but for my style. I went with Saucony Grid Excursions instead (they cost less and look better, too!). Maybe next time, Brooks!
