Great shoe! Love the design of the tongue - it is narrower at the ankle end and not so bulky. The tongue also has a slot for the shoestring to fit through to hold the tongue in place so it doesn't slip & slide around.

I love this shoe. I now believe that a shoe should fit from the moment you put it on - as these did. There was no "breaking in" or blisters - just an amazing shoe. Great comfort and lightweight. Love the colors also.

Purchased in June 2011 and falling apart! I am generally pretty easy on shoes - mostly walking, little running. Within one month of purchase the black portion of the outsole starting coming loose. A few pieces have fallen off since, with more loose. This week one of the lacing loops broke. I like the color and comfort of the shoes, but expected to get more than a few months out of them.

I am forever a Brooks fan now. The shoes were instantly comfortable. They have now survived hiking in Peru and beach running as well as general yard work. Never a blister, and they provide excellent cushioning. Excellently crafted: after a month of hard wear on them they still look new. The color is great and hides dirt well.

This is my second pair. Very light yet supportive, grippy on the trail. Lacing system is secure with great fit around the instep. Lots of rocker which helps with not hittling low roots in the trail.
