Photos looked attractive, but in person the purple sole is very ugly.

Seemed comfy and fit like a glove, except that the left heel was about 1/2 cm higher than the right and dug into my achilles. I'll try another pair and see if I got a fluke.

I bought these after trying on another brand at a running store that hurt. After returning them the store clerk recommended Brooks for me since I prefer Yankz laces and a deeper foot bed allows better fit without losing my circulation. So far in the past month that I've had these they've been good. I did experience a little pain on the ball of my left foot for the first few weeks in these but I think that came from not being broken in. The pain is now gone after a few good runs so I think they are sufficiently broken in and feel great. As a busy mum who runs and wears my sneakers almost every day these have been a great purchase. I'd buy them again.
