- Part of the PureProject™ Collection from Brooks®.
- Recently awarded "Best Buy" in the March 2012 issue of Runner's World Magazine.
- Brooks developed five unique features called the Ideal Technologies (Nav Band, Toe Flex, BioMOGO DNA, Ideal Heel and Anatomical Last) that are featured in every PureProject shoe. Combined, these technologies are designed to promote an efficient, natural stride by encouraging a more forward foot strike, which places the runner over their center of gravity, helps align the body and reduces harmful stress.
- Built for the neutral to mild over-pronator looking to step into the minimalist category without losing the comfort of reliable cushioning and support.
- Breathable air mesh upper.
- Lightweight microfiber synthetic overlays provide structural support.
- Wide Elastic Nav Band wraps across the foot, providing arch support without the underfoot bulk.
- Lightly padded tongue and contoured heel cup for added comfort.
- Lightweight foam insole offers light underfoot plush.
- BioMoGo DNA is a blend of earth-friendly BioMoGo and responsive Brooks DNA, and has a gender-friendly cushioning design, making for a dynamic ride.
- Center strike pod helps guide the foot to a natural landing zone.
- Midsole Offset: 4mm.
- Toe Flex - The split-toe feature augments forefoot flexibility and promotes the big toe to engage the runner's natural stability and power during push-off.
- Ideal Heel - The heel is slimmed down to encourage contact points to shift forward, aligning the joints and creating optimal energy return.
- Built on an anatomical last, the shoe's shape contours to your foot, promoting support and a glove-like fit.
- Weight: 10 oz

I have wide feet and normally wear size 9, so I went up a half size. Shoes feel very light and lively. It has lots of space in the toe area but not where I feel my feet sliding around. I normally wear Kayanos for my grind, but these will be a nice welcome in 5k runs. I am pleased.

I was used to wearing shoes with arch support. After a recommendation from my running coach, I decided to switch to a more neutral shoe. I really like the Brooks PureFlow. The first couple days of running in them, my feet felt sore as they were getting used to the shoe. It seems to work different muscle groups in your feet. Running in them now, I'd never go back to shoes with arch support. Running in these feels more natural and economical. At the same time, I don't think I'd go as extreme as running in the five finger shoes. This seems to be the perfect middle ground.

Been looking to move to a forefoot running shoe due sore forefoot - needed something with more padding. These PureFlows seem to do the job. They are super light but have good support and so far (about 30 miles) they are great on my feet.
Brands I'd also recommend: not sure - used to Asics but not the same

I run with a mid-foot strike and I am a mild over-pronator. I have run in the Brooks Adrenaline for the past 5-6 years and was satisfied. After reading about Brooks entry into the minimalist shoe category I decided to give this shoe a try. This is the best shoe I have run in during my 30+ years of running. Light with generous mid and fore foot cushion. Its design promotes a mid to front foot strike. It has enough motion control to protect and satisfy the mild over-pronator. I highly recommend this shoe.

Excellent! I received a lot of feedback from a Brooks sponsored runner prior to ordering. I'm a moderate pronator and knew I would have to adjust into the shoe, but so far they've felt great and I'll mainly run in the PureForm on paved trails. Break them in slow and you'll be running happy too!

Absolutely love them. They breathe great. I'm on my feet all day walking. After purchasing these my feet don't hurt at all even after 13 hours. Buy them. Buy them. You will not be disappointed.

Best shoes ever. I loved them so much I wore them with 4 miles on them before a marathon [don't try this at home]. No break-in needed. These shoes are for those who have been running and are in shape and have a good base. For those who are ready to move from a trainer to a minimalist shoe. Absolutely love them!

I'm a 45 yr old right leg amputee. So I'm pretty picky about what shoes go on my feet (er, foot). I wear running shoes almost every day for walking or around the house where all our floors are hardwood. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Originally I bought them because I thought they looked cool, but for me the fit and comfort level are fantastic. I always swore by Nike Lunar and Pegasus for walking or working out, but these brooks fit better and I'm having less knee pain than I did with the Nike shoes. They just feel more cushioned than other shoes. Since my first purchase I have bought three more pair. Sizing is similar to a Nike shoe and a bit larger than an Adidas shoe (I always find Adidas tight in the toe).

Despite it being lightweight, it's held up well (I'm 5'10", 190 lbs.) to a heavier runner. It has a midsole striker so the pad really helps with keeping my arches pain free. Only gripe is they skid around on painted surfaces like crosswalks and when it's slick/rainy.

This is a great shoe: very lightweight. I like it so far after one month. I hope they hold up, but I would buy them again.

In true Brooks fashion they do it again! Can't say enough about how comfortable the shoe is. Size is true. I am a larger guy (6'4", 215), and this shoe had plenty of cushioning. Good for shorter runs though. Would not use for marathons.

I always had Asics Gel Kayanos but wanted to try something different. These shoes probably don't offer the same support as the Kayanos but are definitely a comfy and light weight shoe. I would get again.

The reason we gave these three stars overall was that the piece on the behind the heel on the outside of the shoe. The piece is coming undone on both the left and right shoes. We only had these one month and they are already doing that. On the sides of the shoes the the netting/mesh is coming unattached /tearing as well. We are Brooks shoe fans, but these shoes do not hold up.

I haven't had much luck finding a light weight running shoe, finally I found it. While after the first few runs I never felt them hurt at all. Very happy with the construction and stability. You can't go wrong here.

These shoes are fantastic. Light, comfortable, and, so far, pretty durable. These aren't great if you need substantial arch support. However, I usually run about 15 miles a week, so if you are short distance runner, I highly recommend these shoes.

Really, really liked this shoe, particularly in its fit, road feel and cushioning, and was looking forward to it being my basic long run and marathon shoe, but they aren't kidding when they say the Pure Flow is built for neutral to mild over-pronators. I supinate and have done extremely well in Nike's Free Run 2s (500+ miles on each of my last two pairs), but I chewed through the supine heels on these in just 175 miles and that kind of wear makes them not a cost-effective choice for someone who runs as many miles as I do. If you're a mid- to lightweight runner, though, with a neutral gait to mild overpronation, I recommend these highly.

I love these shoes! They feel amazing and look super cool. I got them for my job this summer selling door-to-door for Vivint Security. I am expecting to be on my feet all day and really excited not having to worry about my feet hurting. I'm super impressed with how breathable they are. Super sweet shoes.

Very comfortable shoes, ordered a half size larger than I normally do and fit is good with a bit of room in the toe box. It should be noted that if you are flat footed, the shoes will feel tight in the midsole. After my first few runs my midsole was sore until the shoes gave a little. Lastly, I do have concerns with durability. The bottoms of the shoes appear to have very little rubber and it doesn't look like it will take long before the foam cushioning will start to get worn. Those that tend to put serious miles on their shoes will want to pay attention to this. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the shoes.
